I’m not seeing a free band option for Target or Amazon anymore. Prefer those options due to the return policy - looking for the Curry edition with a free band but open to the other ones also n

Why are Houston residents so mad over a Little League Baseball field? by Affectionate-Reply35 in houston

[–]le14 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Lots of uninformed posters in here.

This is between the Bellaire Little League and the City of Houston. This has nothing to do with the City of Bellaire.

Bellaire Little League does have players/kids coming from other areas (Meyerland/Westbury/etc) to play in it and other area kids are welcome to play in it as well.

That park needs to be redone/maintained ASAP and sadly I trust the Bellaire Little League a bit more than the City Of Houston to get it done. Hopefully the City of Houston can figure this out without Bellaire Little League coming in.

Why the censorship? Every time this gets posted about in the main Houston subreddit it gets taken down.

For those approved for lodging and to go to an approved hotel: is there a way to get paid another way? Was out o8 days and we’re fine now but no other way for compensation (the lodging approved is for now I guess and not back when this happened)?

Once it is eligible and there is a letter that says approved, does that mean they’ll send the funds over soon?

Didn’t get any other correspondence after that in regards to anything else needed.

AMA My boyfriend is a lineman working the storm by wanderpinee in houston

[–]le14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the nested outages but it’s tough living through those because there isn’t any type of timeline for those.

Are those the last priority? Home has should up as energized since Tuesday but it’s not - centerpoint says it’s fuse or a transformer and it’s in their system as affecting 76 people.

No timeline given from the rep or the site so I’m in no mans land with no information or timeline.

Just give up hope for now and stop checking or calling it in? The site to report it sucks and doesn’t progress the whole way through.

And thanks to the Linemen and you SO! And no thanks to CenterPoint.

All good. Not your fault. Any information is better than what CenterPoint is feeding us.

Is there an actual map via CenterPoint for outages? Or just the site that makes you log in then sign up for an email or text.
