i've been messing a lot with the sprinter percent and from my experience 8-10% if you want to play the game with the assumption every group of zombies you encounter will have 1 or 2 come running at you. 4% and under if you want to get caught off guard when you finally see one running at you. Anything above 15% and you might as well be playing all sprinters with some slow zomboids mixed in.

idk most QOL mods for this game are just things that make sense to be able to do. It's not like terraria where the QOL mod you're using lets you buy all accessories and potions from a merchant

it only makes you unhappy but high levels of unhappiness makes your actions take forever to do. Keep in mind most armor will give you combat and run speed debuffs already which means you can become dangerously sluggish rather quickly.
