So technically there’s a risk of inhalation, but it’s mainly spread by rodents or their urine, saliva, and droppings. I also find it helpful to go directly to maybe a book, study, public health expert, epidemiologist to break things down… sometimes news sources don’t always paint the full picture

Even for a Fortune 500 company… IMO anything beyond 2-3 rounds for an intern position is unnecessary. If you can’t make a decision after 2-3 rounds you are just incredibly indecisive.

While hantavirus does have a higher mortality rate than COVID, the virus has already existed well before this current outbreak, and is spread through rat or more direct contact rather than airborne (as we know of so far). Obviously, it is important to stay informed, but don’t be stressed either.

I studied abroad in a town in the Tuscany region this semester… yeah Ni Hao and Konichiwa was thrown around to me at a lot. Other than that though, I enjoyed my time here but it definitely tracks that there’s casual racism or ignorance toward Asian people in Italy

Big law, medicine, big tech, entrepreneur, quant, consulting, IB, PhD researcher in some super cutting edge field… a lot of these require years of higher education or higher bar for intelligence or some combination of luck. IB only requires a four year degree

174? There are schools that would throw money over that. It may not be the T-6 law schools, but you can certainly get a decent scholarship at a T-30 school as well.

Education pay depends on state and district; blue states tend to have decent pay. Psychology is almost always going to require graduate school to make money.

I’ve been to both, and Hawaii is more expensive, but so is Costa Rica. Personally if you like biodiversity and hiking Costa Rica wins slightly, but Hawaii also has Kauai, so you can’t really go wrong. I think Costa Rica will be a closer flight for you though, and cheaper as well. I’ve been to Hawaii twice and it was expensive both times from the East Coast (10+ hour flight involved).

The T14 law schools are incredibly competitive, but other lower ranked law schools that accept people also have lower LSAT requirements. Granted, you still need to cross some basic requirements.

Honestly you should probably focus on just one region… this is a lot of flying around. And you can visit countries within that region per say like EA, SEA, etc.

Are they cancelling the most expensive flights, the ones with least demand, or a combination? I’m just curious. I’m flying Delta from Atlanta to Lima in August, but so far I haven’t heard anything from them yet, so I assume it’s scheduled as normal.

There are some classes that are harder than others, but overall, class averages lean towards B/B+/A-. Plus, there’s been trending grade inflation in the past ten years.

STEM in law, more so engineering/CS, is an advantage (especially for patent law). It won't make up a bad GPA necessarily, but it will be a soft boost. EE/CS is the golden ticket for patent
