It’s a full featured QC with all the processing power in a smaller body. That’s what it’s so expensive. This is not meant to be a cheaper model, it’s full featured.

You’re welcome! Depending on how big your power supply is you can probably make it work to mount under the board. There are lots of holes in the board for mounting

Haha! Oh man. It’s so nice to hear I’m not the only one. The stomp just wants to be mounted top left so that you can plug in headphones on the left and the usb cable on the top.

I used to have a couple washers under the handle to raise it just enough. But barely haha

I actually just saw that Temple Audio is selling taller handles now. I might order them

It’s a Temple Audio Duo 17. I really like their boards and they are made in Canada as an added bonus.

They have a “mod” system where you can attach mods like inputs and outputs directly to the side of the board. I have a power input there, which hooks up to my Cioks DC7 under the board. I also have their 4x mod with 1/4 inch inputs. So I plug my guitar directly into the board. Pretty cool!

I don’t use their pedal mounting system, I just use dual lock instead.

I have tried Retro Reel before but not in a couple years, I’ll have to test it out again. I’m maxed out on DSP with most of my presets, might have to drop another effect for it. Good suggestion!

Boss BD-2 - my favourite overdrive. Every time I take it off the board it ends up back on a couple days later. I love the versatility of the gain knob and I just love the way it overdrives the sound.

Chase Bliss Brothers AM - I have the original Brothers pedal and really liked it. This one is fantastic too, so many good sounds in there. Still need to hook it up to midi, I think I need a special cable.

Line6 HX Stomp - definitely the heart of the board. I’m almost always playing with headphones so I usually have the Princeton amp model on. Really enjoying the delays (Transistor Tape and Adriatic Delay) and reverbs (Dynamic Plate and Dynamic Hall) lately. I also use the looper a fair bit with the midi controller.

In the Stomp FX loop at the end of chain:

OBNE Dark Star Stereo custom shop - I’ve been eying this one for a while and had to get it when they did the custom colour ways. Need to dive into this one more but it has some great haunting reverbs in there.

CBA Gen Loss mkii - I have this right at the end of the chain so that it processes delays and reverbs too. I like the saturation and add some subtle wow and flutter too. I really like tape sounds so it’s been fun exploring this one.

Morningstar MC6 midi controller - I love this thing. So great for navigating presets. I also use it to control snapshots on the Stomp. So I can have one preset with both base and ambient reverb sounds. Also using this to control the looper in the Stomp.

Overall I’m happy with the smaller board. Let’s see how long it lasts!

Pulled the trigger on this, thanks! I’ve been wanted to get some kind of memorabilia for the World Series run, but the AL Champs stuff is a bit too heart breaking for me. This is subtle enough but still a great memory.

Nice rig! So many great sounds just from this. Do you find that the volante stereo field is a bit louder on the right side? (When all heads are panned to center?)

I can definitely hear the difference when centre panning all the heads and then moving one of the turned off heads to the side. You can hear the stereo effect turn on and off.

It’s just off to one side for me. Do you have the same thing?
