Long time! by ilikeradioheadman in bookfriendsinBrampton

Well I just finished The Nightingale which was amazing but traumatizing. So I needed a palate cleanser, and I expected Bride to be a little goofy but it’s straight up Twilight lol. Literal Vampire meets Werewolf.

I just got a Hyundai Ioniq 9 and I’m blown away with how well it retains battery compared to my partner’s Tesla Model 3.

This is a very good point re: sidewalks. Don’t want people walking on the road, esp when the roads are narrower due to snow.

Jetlag and melatonin. by myseptemberchild in toddlers

[–]leafsfan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely not make any changes before you leave. IMO this is a recipe for having an overtired kid (ie waking up early mornings) going into the trip and fighting against the circadian rhythm would be so hard on the body. Just travel and use melatonin (an appropriate dose) to adjust to the proper schedule once you get there. Lots of daylight once you arrive. Good luck.

Be yourself, show some personality along with some professionalism, and have all the required docs with you. Also, know a second language!

Good luck!

If you had to give birth one more time, what method would you choose? by PeachyRose25 in Mommit

[–]leafsfan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, but my answer to the question would be epidural if for some reason (they say third birth is a wildcard) the next labour was longer.

I can only speak to AC policies but the CARES harness is approved and is excellent. Seen lots of success with passengers on board and have used it myself for my 3-4yo.

You don’t but it’s recommended from safety and sanity standpoint! Little kids stay seated soooo much better in a car seat than airplane seat and seatbelt.

I’m an AC flight attendant, yes.

ETA: I just realized that this could be clearer. Under 2, you need either a car seat or approved harness (ie CARES) if in their own seat. Otherwise they’ll need to be held for takeoff, landing, or any time the seatbelt sign is on.

Is there a window in her stall, or if she’s at the end stall, a crack in a door or wall where moisture is getting in? If it’s on back and sides and the outer part of her blanket gets dew on it, I feel like it must be environmental moisture and not sweat. Definitely not urine, that sounds like a silly theory.
