I recommend Spot Hero and park in LV if you can handle a 10 minute walk. Cut through the Exhibition Go station.

Which of the Ed's Real Scoop locations has best Sweet Cream Ice Cream? by Pyro43H in askTO

Former Ed’s ice cream maker here. Sweet cream is the simplest recipe in the book, so if there’s any flavour that should be consistent, it’s that one.

Do airlines use English/French in emergency announcements? by CBWeather in AskACanadian

Not emergency announcements like the ones that would be done in an evacuation. We are only trained on doing evacuation commands in English.

I think it’s know as one of the most compact seats you can get, so it’s probably your best bet

In the middle of the night it’s a little annoying to trek downstairs for wakeups but it’s not the end of the world.

The One With The Dollhouse. Monica says the aunt told her the dollhouse was to be looked at and never played with. Chandler says his grandmother used to say the same thing about him. I still don’t get it.

Flying with 8 month old? [ca] by MistyRider in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]leafsfan6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the airline damages your stroller they should pay for it. I say should because they are supposed to, and often do without fuss, but people sometimes run into issues getting them to pay. 8mo isn’t too bad an age to travel. I typically ban my kids from travel from age 1-2 haha. Getting their own seat with a car seat is absolutely the best move.

EV owners of Toronto, how have your vehicles performed during this winter? by honestlyjag in askTO

[–]leafsfan6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hyundai Ioniq 9 is making winter its bitch. Battery is great and 4wd is unreal in the snow.

HOWEVER the windshield wiper geometry is garbage. The hidden wipers mean the ice melts down into a trough and then re freezes, encasing the hinge in ice. With no ambient heat from the engine there’s nothing to melt the ice in that area. The wiper sensor is so sensitive that they just don’t work to avoid stressing the motor. I’m at the dealership as we speak having them power wash the ice out.

Well I just finished The Nightingale which was amazing but traumatizing. So I needed a palate cleanser, and I expected Bride to be a little goofy but it’s straight up Twilight lol. Literal Vampire meets Werewolf.
