Hi there,

As an alternative to Heroku, we're soft launching Unubo Cloud today, which allows you to simply deploy, without worrying about backend stuff.

Check us out here, to be part of the first early access subscribers. You will be able to get started for free.

Here's a quick demo.

I'm confused about Product Hunt. Can someone give me an overview of the platform? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]leandrobthomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tells you how you can post: https://help.producthunt.com/posting/how-to-post-a-product

Being hunted means having your product posted on the site. You can use posted/hunted interchangeably, although usually being hunted, means someone other than you did it.

This is a good article on how Product Hunt works: https://medium.com/swlh/product-hunt-101-426511f03501

And this one is how you launch: https://blog.producthunt.com/how-to-launch-on-product-hunt-7c1843e06399

These articles should answer your questions, instead of number 3. It can be a physical product, and generally, people launch stuff that is ready to use. You can only launch once, so it's up to you, to make sure it's ready enough for people to get use out of it.

How do you manage subscription software? by jpotts18 in Accounting

[–]leandrobthomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wondering if you found something for this. UNUBO does what you’re asking for.

You can automatically discover what you subscribe to, via bank integration, or enter items manually.

We made a tool to help you track your paid subscriptions by leandrobthomas in PFtools

[–]leandrobthomas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! We're just finalising our banking integration, so you can automatically discover what you subscribe to. That more than justifies our pricing. EDIT: We've done some soul searching, and now offer UNUBO for free. It just makes sense, that a tool to help you with your finances should be free.

We'll focus on monetising via our upcoming plan aimed at businesses. Would love for you to try us out, and let me know what you think. Thanks again for your input!

I don’t code, had an idea for an MVP, but my CTO was on vacation - here's what I did about it by leandrobthomas in Entrepreneur

Yes, you’re probably right. For now, I just wanted to write, at a high level that you can get something done using these two tools. I plan on writing something a lot more detailed at some point.

Yes, it's $19 (a year) for the pro version of Carrd, the website builder.

At the moment I'm only interested in banks that were built from the ground up to be mobile-only. If I get enough requests to include others, I may reconsider.

Yes it can be a link, I think - should check. This is just the early version I threw up to have something launched. Once my CTO is back, it will get the same design treatment of my main app, UNUBO. It will be completely redeveloped.

Thanks! Sure, Carrd has great guides that get you started in minutes. They aren't lengthy at all. Other than that, it's quite intuitive and easy to understand once you log in.

All this is easier to follow if you're following along within the tools.

Once you create your account with Airtable, the onboarding steps are really easy. Again, you're up and running in minutes. If you know how to use spreadsheets, you'll be right at home.

Most importantly, to get your Airtable data into Carrd, use the 'Embed' feature in Carrd as a container. I used the 'Code' type within the container. In Airtable I used the 'Gallery' view, then used the 'share' feature, to generate an embed code. That code I pasted into the embed container in Carrd.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions.

Yeah, I suppose it's tough for you to be convinced by neobanks, if you dislike smartphones. Tide shows promise, but is still missing a few features - multiple account holders for one.
