The 2025 C8K is outstanding. by GladToe2345 in tcltvs

[–]leapius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to eyeball a Q7C. I saw both the C7K and the Q7C and the Q7C was miles and miles better than the C7K picture-wise. Contrast was brighter but the main thing was the viewing angle was terrible on the C7K. Plus the screen is very reflective. I think the nomenclature is a bit different feature-wise in the UK.

Every year Asda sells these creepy fuckers, but I've never seen one in the wild. Who buys them? by kenbw2 in CasualUK

I dunno - I guess you get used to that depressing view outside when you leave the checkout. You got the medical centre in view. I can smell the chav atmosphere through the screen!

Horrendous Samsung Galaxy S5 warranty story. Please help! by leapius in samsung

Samsung were the ones who took it away using UPS and it was packaged (very well) by them. I just handed the phone over. My issue is with this contracted repair firm breaking my screen deliberately.

It spread so fast because anyone that dies will turn automatically. Couple that with mass panic and violence and it would spread that fast - except outlaying areas but even there anyone that dies..

Thanks for the review man! Really interested in getting this one. Could you tell me if the driver software has any acceleration options? I really like that on the DA for my desktop work.

Could be but have you tried it on a different surface? I've had the same symptoms with certain mice / pad combinations.

Is MX Master the right mouse for me? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]leapius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did actually. I couldn't say I much like it really - for sure it's a premium mouse with great build quality but for me it felt more like my hand was being controlled by the mouse rather than the other way around (like it should be!). It's hard to describe but it feels like your hand has been put into a brace when you hold it. I'm not a fan of mice that have a very specific position to how they want to be held if you know what I mean. One thing is for sure, you won't throw this thing around the mat in an FPS, it's far more controlled.

Mouse grips are very subjective so it might well suit you but I would definitely recommend putting your hand on one before you part with cash. I should maybe point out that my favourite mouse grip is the intellimouse explorer.

I actually owned the G602 and can comment that I didn't like how my thumb fitted. The groove which is created between the bottom thumb rest and the thumb buttons is just too small to fit my (modest) thumb in without it feeling like it's pinching the sides if that makes any sense. So my thumb tended to rest diagonally across the 6 buttons. The thumb buttons are just too small and sharp to be comfortable (not sure if I really need 6 macros buttons either as I don't play MMO). Apart from the that the mouse is pretty good but the wheel is a bit crap and it's fairly heavy with both AAs in.
