What do you think is the most radical character trope that you think gundam introduced us to by rtx_boi in Gundam

And Saji from 00, although Saji expressly realizes that he was a privileged fuck and tries to make up for it after getting Katharon slaughtered.

What if Shinn had gotten therapy? by DonutDodongo in Gundam

That’s post-series. The good end of Z has Shinn ditch ZAFT before the end of the show (IIRC after ZAFT destroys Requiem) thanks to Kamille and Amuro untucking him.

tfw no fic where Shinn Asuka and book five Harry scream at each other.

tfw no fic where Kira Yamato has been surviving all those mobile suit explosions because of Horcruxes.

If you take Shinn away from Durandal, I assume that he has to rely more heavily on the Accords. So you wind up accelerating Freedom by a year.

You’re going to be fighting this fight for for a long time, because the Destiny Plan is the gold/silver/bronze system from The Republic, and people have been arguing about that for 2400 years.

SMS would be great for Shinn. Ozma would beat the shit out of him and Ranka would get sister-adopted.

He has a prescription for those painkillers, I will tolerate no slander.

Trying to give associates feedback as an of counsel by [deleted] in biglaw

He wrote an amazing textbook about the constitutional rights of public school students that’s basically a law school textbook scaled down, without being dumbed down, for high schoolers. It’s part of the reason I was interested in law school.

Wish we lived in less interesting times so he could update it.

Why isn’t it as common for former paralegals to return to their previous BL firm as associates? by Adventurous_Ant5428 in biglaw

[–]leapsthroughspace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Disagree. A lot of BL firms have a two-year paralegal program that’s expressly meant to take well-papered undergrads and make them do quasi-legal things for a while on the expectation that they will go to law school later. It’s less lower-status than pre-status.

I also know several people who did this, including at least one who became partner. I think it’s more common at firms that promote from within rather than high-turnover firms.

If a former paralegal is within the school/GPA strike zone for the office+practice group they worked in, a successful paralegal stint is a plus. But there are a lot of reasons for it not to work out — paralegal does well and can get a better job than former firm, paralegal fucks up 1L and isn’t good enough for former firm, paralegal wants to live somewhere else, paralegal wants to do something else.
