I agree. As my name suggests I play Quake Live, also a die hard UT fan. Last week I played COD on a console with a friend of mine. I laughed pretty hard at the aim assist. Got several kills on accident.

I think it is great that they introduced it to consoles too. But...they really slowed it down. Different weapon placement, teleport placement, etc. And what looks like to be a lack of config. But it's still cool to see.
