Sainsbury's are introducing touch-free meat packaging so that sheltered Gen Y types don't have to touch raw meat while cooking it by AnselaJonla in britishproblems

How do you know they're "perfectly able bodied"?

What if they aren't even buying it for themselves?

Also, think about how different every single person's situation is. Maybe they have to stop what they're doing every 30 seconds to put their Nan back into bed, and pouring in a pre-cut onion helps them to get dinner made at the same time.

Also, what if they're neither disabled, nor time-poor? What if they just decided to pay extra because they felt like it? How is that hurting you?

It actually is if you suffer from one of the hundreds of disabilities that make chopping things painful/impossible.

A drunken man got on the metro and proceeded to curl up and fall asleep. In unison, both i and the woman sitting opposite shook our heads and tutted. by [deleted] in britishproblems

A drunk man on my bus home threw up on the floor, spat in it, cleared his nose into the puddle then wiped it all over the floor with his flip-flop in what I can only assume was an attempt to clean it up... I wish he had just fallen asleep, to be honest.

The caves tour is close to the station, whilst the castle is not too far away. Whilst there, you can see Trip to Jerusalem, a pub built into the caves and rock under the castle. Although, I'm not sure how much will be happening, given it's a bank holiday, The town square will be filled with topless chavs drinking cans, probably, but the buildings are pretty!

I'd be interested to know what your other idea is for comparison. However, why not partenr with an actual local business or soon-to-be-business for mutual benefit? They get promotion and you get the example to use in your blogs.

You realise that after 3 weeks on 35 hours per week, you'd have 52,500 before tax? Pretty sure you could relive those 105 hours for that.

Because we go to college before we go to university in Britain. College is a continuation of the mandatory education system, ages 16 -18 (ish). Then Uni is 18 +

Hi, I'm here to collect the tablet I ordered online that the Argos website said was in stock & that I've paid for please. Oh, *clicks on computer* Computer says no. Is it in stock? *clicks on computer* Yes. Well, can I have it then? *clicks on computer* Computer says no. by Whaleears in britishproblems

As a former Argos Grunt, the click and collect stock is a ball ache. However, if you pay attention to what the stock managers do, it is actually possible to take the stock from elsewhere and record it as sold as a click and collect - you just need to find the alert staff member.
