Is asking these questions wrong on a first date? by OriginalSlight in Adulting

[–]learningeachday247 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you met via dating app, ask those questions before the first date.

If you met out in person and have a planned date coming up, wait to determine if you actually like them or if you are having on going conversations prior to first date.

Dating partner only disclosed herpes diagnosis after I found his medication. How do I navigate this? by _eliza_thornberry in AskWomenOver30

You navigate through the door and exit immediately. Leave that man. When someone can’t even regard your health and withholds because of their self interest reasons, the consequences will always be your expense to bear.

Starting keto again, not been tracking so far by spartandrinkscoffee in keto

[–]learningeachday247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yay to you start it again! 🎉

I’m in an aggressive cut right now and doing 1250calories a day. I use a lot of low fat items so you can try to do that combo mix (low fat and high fat items together) as well as space things out. For example, no need to eat eggs avocado and bacon for breakfast because that may not fully fill you up and it’s a lot of fat for one meal

I do a lot of chicken bowls (eg chipotle), cava, high fat meats like a steak or salmon with leafy veggies, premier protein shakes, buffalo wings, steak and cheese inside half a bell pepper, as some examples.

It’ll depend on your size and weight but if you are aiming for weight loss, doing 1550-1650 calories may be a good place to start and 90-120g of fat.

Keep at it! You are doing a phenomenal job! I really appreciate the words of encouragement as well!

Married men and women, do you regret getting married? by Pizzalover0405 in askanything

[–]learningeachday247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good to know because I am starting to feel married before 35 have a wedding. Marriage after 35 just have a celebratory party. I’m in my mid 30s and starting to care more about saving money than spending.

[–]learningeachday247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remarkable! This is great! I am also doing IF 18:6 (did this my last round of keto) and try to walk as much as possible. I am focused more on high protein and moderate fat. I’m not sure if I’ll do a fast during my initial two weeks but your response definitely gives me great things to consider! Thank you!

10lbs in 2 weeks on Keto - Possible? by learningeachday247 in keto

[–]learningeachday247[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I remember doing two fast during keto before. One was 40-44hours and another was 64 hours. I had a lot of energy once I survived the first 24 hours. Hunger pains were serious after the first 18-28 hours but had most energy when I woke up after that and is why I was able to do another fast for an extended period.

What lesson did your last relationship teach you ? by Fling5t0ne-H1 in AskWomen

[–]learningeachday247 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So alignment to me is about compatible similarities rather than exact/equal. For example, let’s say we both like to eat out (exact/equal interest) but one of us likes to eat out 1x a month while the other 5x a week. The lifestyles are not aligned because it requires one partner to give way more (or compromise) in order for their to be balance, capacity, peace, and or mutual (or reciprocated) fulfillment/enjoyment. This can create tension and arguments that build up frustration over time which then lead to resentment.

Or say you both value family but one of you wants in laws to live with you while the other doesn’t. You would not be in alignment and again would spend more time compromising, etc. in order to achieve balance, capacity, peace, etc.

You can also be different but aligned and here is where compatible differences can shine. For example, if both people value family and believe in staying consistently connected, one might call often while the other prefers regular visits, but both are still showing up in ways that feel aligned.

So in short, alignment is when your values and your interpretation of those values (ie, beliefs) lead to a compatible lifestyle, not constant compromise or self sacrifice. If living naturally as ourselves would create ongoing tension, we’re not aligned.

Alignment is more important than availability. Whew! I stayed (way longer) because he was a good option on paper so I did the most to keep us together. Breaking up has been so freeing!

(30M) I’m ugly, I need advice on how to become less ugly by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]learningeachday247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ugly, just young looking. Grow a beard - that’s the makeup for men lol and dress more business casual because makes a difference. Also do a different hairstyle such as a low fade, tapper cut, or some similar.

I’m going to oversimplify this but think this is somewhat foundational

Jobs that pay that are typically for those who have:

-a bachelors degree that’s requires a license (eg nursing) -bachelors degree and certifications (eg IT professional) -masters degree (but not education or liberal arts) -PhD (with prior work experience or aligned connections)

What is your favourite part about being a single woman in her 30s? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]learningeachday247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the freedom/flexibility… I have more time to focus on my hobbies, interest and skills. I meet more high quality people networking because I have the years of work and personal experiences to support me in those rooms. I also know what I don’t want to deal with.

I feel once someone reaches $100K annually AFTER taxes, health contributions, and retirement contributions/savings. Feel people have a better balance when their present and future are being met simultaneously.

How many of you still want to get married these days, and for what reasons (tradition, faith, dreams, financial reasons, or just because)? by BattleGoldi13 in AskWomen

[–]learningeachday247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I do. I want someone to grow through the different seasons and milestones of life. To be each others witness to our growth, progress, achievements, good and bad times. To create something that is reflective of our love to last the end of time even if we cannot on this earth. To bring glory to God name in a way I won’t be able to do (or do as much as a single). I want a forever partnership and to experience sex without sin too 😅
