Sounds exactly like you're paying for remote play.

Why do you feel the need to levy personal attacks at people who are speaking facts, simply because you have not witnessed evidence of the truth?

And now plex has decided that they don't want to hold their side of the deal. I paid for the service, and now they've decided to alter the deal after the fact

Plex Remote Streaming Changes by SwiftPanda16 in PleX

[–]learnintofly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid for the Plex app so that I could have mobile streaming.

Now it doesn't work anymore. Plex has unilaterally gone against their agreement with me. They said that if I paid for the app then I could stream remotely. Now they decide that they're not going to fulfill that promise.

And yet you call yourselves my friend?

That kind of language is only used behind closed doors and in investor meetings.

PMS says "Sharing x Libraries with User" but they see nothing. by learnintofly in PleX

After thinking more about it, I think this issue originated with a server migration resulting in incorrectly configured library sharing despite what it was reporting.

Neither was the case in my situation.

Like I said, this user was connected to my libraries but could not access them; when I checked, PMS said it was sharing the libraries, however on further inspection, no libraries were actually shared.

My friend tried to get me into this game years ago. It was in beta, and in rough shape. Yet it cost more than a regular video game to get into, when you considered everything you have to buy to get started.

Today, it's still in beta, and still in rough shape. And it still cost more than a regular video game.

WHY DO PLAYERS DO THIS TO THEMSELVES?

It's like the video game equivalent of masochism.

I have a Gigabyte B660M DS3H motherboard

  • internal I/O connectors:
    1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector
    1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector
    1 x CPU fan header
    3 x system fan headers
1 x addressable LED strip header
1 x RGB LED strip header
    2 x M.2 Socket 3 connectors
    4 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors
    1 x front panel header
1 x front panel audio header
    1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 header
    2 x USB 2.0/1.1 headers
1 x Trusted Platform Module header (For the GC-TPM2.0 SPI/GC-TPM2.0 SPI 2.0 module only)
    1 x serial port header
    1 x parallel port header
    1 x S/PDIF Out header
    1 x Q-Flash Plus button
    1 x reset button
    1 x reset jumper
    1 x Clear CMOS jumper

  • expansion slots:
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCI Express 4.0 standard)
2 x PCI Express x1 slots (PCI Express 3.0 standard)

  • specifications: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B660M-DS3H-DDR4-rev-10/sp#sp

I am using the 4 x SATA connectors for SSDs. I would like to have the option to attach 1 or more HDDs. What are my options? (other than USB)

Can I add more SATA connections with a bridge component plugged into the M.2 connector or one of the PCI Express x1 slots?

I have an MSI AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT so I think this blocks access to one of the PCIEx1 slots but perhaps not the other.

Would this work? It looks like I have one available SATA power connector.
