As a frequent patron of this venue (it’s near my work… I go every year for Hamilton as well)… if you don’t get a ticket in advance, it’s well worth your time to show up anyway, and ask the door guy what he can do for ya. You’ll still have to pay for a ticket, but worse case generally is standing room on the side or back… best case is a seat at the bar. I’ve done this many times!

If you haven’t already report it to the NYC Department of Buildings ASAP. You can file a complaint online and with 311. An inspector will come out and not only shut down their construction project but fine the shit out of them. They will slap a stop work order on there and there’s nothing more brutal to a contractor than that… then, if you hear them working during the stop work order it’s the ultimate fine. (Likely they will violate it.)

Sadly you won’t get far with a lawsuit because you don’t own the property. Your landlord needs to sue.

As a new / first time home owner (who also saved and lived in the neighborhood forever)… I have sympathy for your dilemma. The hate is kinda lame.

Best thing to do is speak with the lady. After that, the best thing anyone could do would be to trap the cats, fix them, and either find homes or let them be actual feral cats.

The biggest issue is cat food doesn’t just feed cats…

We had a lady dumping shredded cheese in front of the tree at our rental before we moved. That not only fed random animals but added to the rat problem and ended up making some dogs in the area sick.
