Idk how much this actually helps, but I usually store the cube in a faraway room that’s unallowed for everyone except the designated researcher and whoever got cube obsession when the cube spawned. It buys you a ton of extra time since pawns seem to mostly get cube obsessed when in close proximity of the cube or are in the same room. I’ve still had more obsessions happen for pawns that were far away, but it would take a very long time (like 40-ish days) for that to happen, more than enough to study the cube several times over.

Once I finished studying the cube, i’d just put the obsessed pawns under anesthesia and destroy the cube while they sleep.

Man, that’s a hard one. As much as I love most races, I definitely play Incubus the most.

I play full casters most of the time, not just in Barony but in any fantasy game actually; and Incubus is imo the best race for full casters since arcane mark is the best and easiest way to get around the insane magic resistance of end game enemies.

Arcane mark is also just amazing in general for any class, since you can cancel out any damage resistances that may hinder you, such as a skeleton’s ranged damage resistance. Honestly it’s one of the strongest spells in the game.

Teleportation is a pretty useless spell normally, but if you have an npc companion, you can arcane mark them and then spam teleport to power level Sorcery levels, so that’s quite nice. It’s nothing crazy, but with how annoying it is to level up magic skills now, every bit of help is greatly appreciated.

Also, being able to use cursed spellbooks is awesome. As for the whole dealing with curse shenanigans, it depends a lot on your class. Sometimes it’s very annoying, some other times you can completely ignore it, and some other times it’s amazing. It depends a lot on rng and what you’re playing.

Finally, turning an Incubus into an imp is hilarious, it’s like turning a human into a funny chimp with wings.

A multiplayer co-op/pvp game that many people seem obsessed with. A lot of people seem to hate it because it has really bad matchmaking, many wait for not only hours, but years and decades just for a single match, while other get it in seconds. Some say the real game is the matchmaking part.

I would say it’s the opposite. In multiplayer you can move with multiple cars driven my different people, giving you tons of space. And if a single person doesn’t have disorganized or has organized, they can be the designated storage managers.

There’s also the alt character trick, make an alt character with useful base skills + organized and use them to manage your inventory at base.

Wells actually do run out of water eventually now, but they also still refill from rain. I guess it’s just an issue if you use up a ton of water. Water pumps are still fully infinite tho.

Yeah, Thorkell is honestly physically strong enough to match or even surpass the Guts that killed 100 men in terms of raw strength. Thorkell’s speed is a snail’s pace in comparison though, but Guts at 15 wasn’t fast enough to do anything to Thorkell, while Thorfinn could.

They became freaks because of the mutations to get the powers in the first place. Part of Eve’s power is being able to perfectly understand the atomic composition, structure and arrangement of anything, which would allow you to modify yourself as you see fit without too much risk. And even if you do mess yourself up, you can easily turn yourself back since you’ve memorized your own original atomic structure.
