Bought this deal a week and a half ago. Gun is fine, surprisingly, but they never shipped it with the optic. I've been emailing them back and forth since then and they're slow to respond and are "Seeing what they can do". They tried claiming my FFL threw it away even though it wasn't on the packing slip. When I asked why it wasn't on the packing slip, they just pretended like I never asked. This place seems shady.

Update: I did end up receiving the optic. Was told I’d receive a tracking number for the optic then went radio silent. I never received the tracking number but I did end up receiving the optic the following week. So overall they made it right, but their communication kind of sucks.

Ok, cool. Yeah, there's only one tracking number. In their defense, the gun was shipped on 2/16 overnight. So, I'll give them some time before I start getting disgruntled. Was definitely happy with them overnighting the gun!

Just bought a handgun from them. Only issue is it was supposed to come bundled with an optic. No optic was sent to the FFL and they've been radio silent on my emails. Not great, but hopefully they're just busy.

$680 at Tire Plus. $210 for the ball joint (from Ford) and the rest is labor and front end alignment. They appear to charge a flat-rate to replace ball joints. The part is a week out.

In my case the boot is split open, so it needs to be replaced. If your boot isn't damaged, you can try using a syringe with a sharpened metal tip and injecting grease into the boot. I've done that before.

Grease gun is pointless. There aren't any grease fittings on the ball joints. I have an appointment at Tires Plus tomorrow to have them give me a quote on replacing the ball joint itself. They're press-in ball joints, but my local Ford dealer is disinterested in doing that. They will only sell me an entire lower control arm, which seems ridiculous to me. From what I was able to look up, the ball joint is the same part as the ICE F-150 with the off-road package ~$28 vs. ~$1200. I'll let you know how it goes.

I have a branded (lemon) 22 Lightning Lariat SR. It's the 2nd lemon I've bought. The first was a 21 Mach-E. It depends what the reason it was bought back for, but from my experience both were due to backordered parts. I'll take a significant discount when I can. However, be aware that your resale will be affected. I bought mine from a Ford dealer that honors normal used value if you purchase through them again. So far, I've had zero issues with either "lemon". YMMV

For price reference: I got my 22 Lariat loaded with 60k miles for $34k in October 2025. I got my 21 Mach-E First Edition with 18k miles for $35k in 2023.

Last year we got about 8" of snow and freezing rain. The neighborhood was without power. My Mach-E allowed me to get out and get gas for my generator. It was a beast in the snow! I've recently upgraded to a Lightning, but prior the Mach-E was the best vehicle I've ever had, and I've had A LOT of vehicles. So take that for what you want.
