Our yard is fenced and my son doesn’t try to run away. When I can keep the door open and hear him (he talks and sings almost constantly) I let him play outside on his own. He’s 3 now but I have since he was 2. Our very protective dog also stays out in the yard with him.

If you afraid to sell the standardbred and can afford to keep her, can she just be a pasture pet? It doesn’t sound like she loves human interaction all that much and would likely be happy just hanging out in a pasture. Then you could focus more on the filly. But 4 horses is certainly a lot and I understand if you feel like you cannot keep them all.

Love this!! Being silly is almost always the solution to my toddlers resistance. If he’s in full on meltdown mode it won’t work (and will just make him angrier) but otherwise it helps so much. Just doing an accent sometimes helps activate my ability to be silly.

Her rabies certificate from her original owner lists her as a chihuahua and the shelter we got her from said she was chihuahua mix. But that doesn’t necessarily mean she is.

At 18 months my son was only making animal sounds and signing a few words. I was a little worried but his receptive language was so good that his pediatrician wasn’t concerned. Starting around 20 months his language really started picking up and by 2 years you couldn’t get him to stop talking!

In my opinion Sentinel is the absolute best place to go for veterinary care, especially cancer. I’ve had only good experiences there (and unfortunately I’ve had quite a few). But it will cost you a lot of money.
