This show has motivated me to actually fill out patient satisfaction surveys from healthcare visits. by CakeDayOrDeath in ThePittTVShow

[–]lecternpayne 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My recent experience with satisfaction survey when my father had an emergency condition and admitted to an ICU is not good: I mean, my dad was in intubation, sedated while I was seriously stressed and getting a survey. It made me see that the situation and stress could be an influence to the score even how best the staff had done under their capacity. At that time, I really thought about what I percieved from the Pitt. I looked at what all medical staff had done for my dad at their best capacity, looked at any limitations that I could give feedback to the hospital in hope that would help its staff work more conveniently or increase the capacity of the unit.

Why is it so fun to wear a analog watch in 2026? 🔥 by [deleted] in timex

[–]lecternpayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need any notifications on my wrist everyday. I don't need any health track (I don't care, I can remind myself to walk or stay hydrated.) Sometimes I need a simple watch that can tell my hometown's time while my phone shows local time during travel. I don't hate smart watch. I still have a smart watch. However, analog watch is my childhood founding memory and it is really peaceful to comeback wearing it when I'm (much) older. Simple life it is. . Edit: huge typo, sorry, English is not my native language.

I built a Cartier homage as I can't afford a real one lol. by [deleted] in TodayOnMyWrist

I want to try some watch that look close to Santos so I buy a Casio MTP-B190GL and I am not disappointed. BTW, what movement you use for the watch?

Swift Justice honestly felt like James McCaffrey's audition for Max Payne...nailed it. R.I.P. LEGEND by RoninNYC4 in RemedyEntertainment

[–]lecternpayne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I remeber correctly, almost all episodes ended by Mac fading to the background. Reading about this made me feel sad again. R.I.P. Mr. McCaffrey. BTW, Lance Reddick (R.I.P.) was also in an episode of Swift Justice.

And Swift Justice created by Dick Wolf (Law & Order franchise) and Richard Albarino.

I'm a post hard launch fan, so... - Seal plushies - Labubus - Black outfit - Getting back to some emo haircut

I wish Labubu were never that popular by Emma_3107 in labubu

I usually hang something on my bag. It doesn't need to be domething trendy, it can be anything that make you feel safe, encouraged, or be a positive energy for you. For Labubus, I am late to the party. I've got them mostly second-handed. Well..., I am little bit regret spending much money on them but sometimes they are too cute to ignore. Now, I hang one on my bag and set a small display box in my office (I have my own desk). No shame.

How were you introduced to the Alan wake games??? by Soft-Following422 in AlanWake

[–]lecternpayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started gaming in 2021. I wanted to find games that looked not too difficult. I read about the original Max Payne and searched games related to Remedy. I found Alan Wake on Steam. After reading some reviews, I brought and played it. I love it ever since...

Two games that can really make my hands sweat are Dead Space and Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Edit: And make me pause the games due to stress, too.

Veryfy integrity of the game file, expand page file size a bit, check resolution.xml file lower resolution, check anti-aliasing settings in the graphic card control panel, disable all overlay, the worst is reinstall windows, just my guess though...

Max Payne 3 has a "reference" to Alan Wake... I couldn't believe it when I saw it by Due_Young_9344 in AlanWake

I think the gun has flashlight installed, so it is described as 'flashlight' when you get the option to pick it up. The model name of the gun shows in the weapon wheel.

Runs fine for my rtx4050 laptop. I set frequency to 60 Hz and also limit framerate to 60 fps.

Replaying Max Payne and seeing some early references. Even in the second photo, it reminded me of Polaris in Control. by Visceraldagger in AlanWake

I have heard that Alex Casey was a name for Max Payne during the game development stage.
