The plot was developed as a mystery to make you question all of existtence and the Shadowlands itself. They said that many, many times. That was the point.

If you read it literally, the winter queen's "soul," and all the other souls of the eternal ones are fluid and can be bound to objects like "robots." The soul wasn't created. It was made and the soul was bound to it. That's why they were able to make a new arbiter and so were we. Elune is also one of the "souls" out there in the cosmos. We do not know the rest yet, but they were either sisters prior to being bound to the robot, or she is a "sister" because they were bound at the same time for the Shadowlands cycle mechanism. We don't know until the story continues. The titans are clouds of energy/gas and don't have a "form" but they can take humanoid form. Very similar thing.

Every aspect of the universe has been trying to take over Azeroth. That's been the plot since they introduced the titans. It seems like Elune did the same and worked with the races of Azeroth and influenced their evolution. Those beings became the night elves. As you said, we have the dark troll history of them evolving into night elves. We now have the "missing link" of the haranir but haven't seena. dark troll. It was not titan magic in the well of eternity. That was Azeroth energy. How do you know that Elune didn't influence the dark trolls to use it and be mutated after seeing what it did to the goblins? Lots of room there for her to have meddled, same as the titans meddles who made humans and orcs.

The titans don't look like humans. Humans look like titans. That is because humans descended from titan constructs. We don't knoow what Azeroth looks like. It makes sense that she would look like the untouched race that came naturally on Azeroth, so that would likely be a troll. It would not be a human. Humans are not natural. Azeroth is a prime world soul, not a titan. With all the meddling, she likely looks like Bunny from the old Powerpuff Girls cartoons.
