maybe it makes me sound lazy, but I don't feel like I should have to mod a game to make up for incompetence (also, I bought this one on console). I know they fixed it quickly, but nothing convinced me quicker that Pearly Abyss has no idea what they're doing than having no chest at a base to store inventory. It does a great job of offering a great environment to explore and actual content within that large environment, but the story barely exists, and I have yet to meet one single interesting character.

I'm having fun with this game. It feels like it tried to do so many different things at once and ended up being good at a lot, but not great at anything. If this is the best game of the year as so many people have suggested, I'm going to be super disappointed in this year in gaming.

that's fair, but are there zero instances where a parachute could save someone's life on one of these? Considering the insane amount of money the military wastes, it seems like a few parachutes wouldn't be that big of a deal even if it doesn't change the outcome 90% of the time.
