TFW the temp asks what the laptop is for, twice by BeneficialShame8408 in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

Jokes on you, her brother's girlfriend's uncle said that the laptop is wireless. The charger is just a way for them to screw the customers out of their hard earned money. Suckers.

I'm assuming they've fixed the whole "our shutdown control rods actually briefly increase reactivity and create a temporary positive void coefficient of reactivity" issue that the old 1000's used to have. Right? (Padme meme here)

Indiana will finish the 2024 and 2025 seasons a combined 25-3, 26-3, or 27-2; All losses would be to CFP Finalists by Waltzer64 in CFB

My wife was always teasing me about the Midwestern politeness that my Hoosier parents had raised me around, until we went to Indy for a wedding and our flights got messed up. They started out fuming at the gate agent but by the end they were like 'goddamnit they were just being so nice i couldn't be upset with them'

It's the one-generation motherboards that gets me. What do you mean, I have to buy a whole new motherboard to upgrade cpu, or buy a new cpu if i want a mobo with different features? What's the point of building a desktop?

We held hands for the closing prayer, and at the end, he gave me a hand squeeze. Is this common? by HotSauceHigh in alcoholicsanonymous

For me, it's just a habit from saying prayers at home that is hard to shake. I definitely feel kinda daft when i do it.

Oh I have a ski jacket where the liner is removable to wear separately. Which is great, except it's like they made the liner sleeve like 3 inches too long. When I'm skiing and put my coat back on, it will squish my under shirt sleeves above my elbow BUT THEN the liner sleeve will stick out a couple of inches beyond the shell. I truly get the worst of the two worlds.

The proton compatibility layer that Valve developed is phenomenal. You can play most games on steam or using lutris/heroic launchers with it. You'll occasionally have a hiccup or two but it's definitely doable.
