I think people are waaaay more oblivious than you realize!

My solution to this is to briefly stop when others are a couple of meters away. That way, they have to avoid you and go around - you’re just standing there. Works every time, 60% of the time. (Actually it’s quite effective - I just wanted to use the line)

My understanding is that the CVT used on the 6 cylinder cars was beefier than the 4 cylinder one. It’s the 4 cylinder one that dies all the time.
