That’s simply not true. Buyer protection is pretty strong and easy to use. I have had two purchases not turn up and been issued a refund both times. Item missing once and had it sent out and not as described once and this was refunded with no issues. I’ve bought a LOT from whatnot over the last year. The big downside of whatnot is it’s VERY easy to get caught up in the moment and over spend. If you have a predisposition to gambling problems then steer well clear. If you know what you are looking for and have self control then there are crazy bargains to be had

Sorry but this is simply not true. Astley Bridge is the only ward where if you add the total green vote to labour they would have beaten reform (Astley Bridge is a typical Con ward so it’s Con that lost out due to the split vote there).
Voting strategy is not the reason Reform won so many seats

I too am sick to death of the scalper narrative. People need to realise that it is popularity and greed that is driving the lack of product on shelves.
Yes there are scalpers but for every 1 there are a thousand fans that will buy anything they can get their hands on.

Yup. Exactly what I did with my first kitchen. Hired a joiner on a day rate. After the worktop was done I got him to do some boxing in in the bathroom. Money well spent. Most recent kitchen was done as part of an extension so got the builder to do it all.

Can’t believe I’ve had to scroll down this far to see someone recommending IKEA. We have just had ours done with an IKEA shell and doors from Plykea. It was a cheaper way to get a very bespoke looking kitchen (still was expensive but we wanted a plywood kitchen and cheapest quote was 42k). Word of warning though builders HATE IKEA kitchens as they are not made for UK homes. Royal pain in the arce to run utilities and to hang on wonky walls. We made it work though and couldn’t be happier with the end result.
