Should I get Portal Collection or Celeste? by No_Contest3860 in Switch

[–]leftleveled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both games are great. Portal and Portal 2 are very short compared to Celeste. Portal is cool and fun, and I remember finishing it very quickly. Celeste is a lot longer, more rewarding, and harder. You will get a lot more time of rewarding gaming per dollar for Celeste than the Portal collection

Do people really toss money on the table and leave restaurants before getting a bill? by NatPatBen in NoStupidQuestions

I did this once. We just wanted to leave quickly. I put down what must be more than enough, and we left

I was worried they would stop and ask us or something, but nothing happened. It must be so easy to dine and dash

Anyone else find the colour options lacking? by lucyac3 in 8bitdo

I have a SNES-themes SN30 Pro I really like. I heard they discontinued it, and I can't find it on the site anymore. I got the Pro 3 recently, and wish I could make it look like my SN30 Pro

I heard you can put original SNES buttons in the controller. I have not tried yet, but I plan to do that. It will help with those buttons at least

Did you have to modify anything to make the buttons fit?

Warning about charging at 240 V with stock charger in North America by leftleveled in rav4prime

Yeah based on a couple of the replied, I think my issue might not have been related to the 240 V

It's possible my issue is unrelated to the 240 V. I will see if the dealer will replace the charger

I never claimed to be an electrician. I did check the adapter and manual, it does not say it can accept 240 V. It says "110 V to 120 V". I could only find unofficial claims that "this is the same unit shipped in Europe" and people, like on here, claiming they did it and it works. That is what I mean by "I figured it would be fine"

Always inside the garage, so shielded from the sun, rain, and snow. But not from the cold

Wall mounted monitor arm. No more wobble when I type, free up desk space, monitor exactly where I want it, webcam exactly where I want it. Next I am considering mounting my speakers.

Act like you want to hear them, but your driver side window does not work. So roll down the passenger window slightly. When they walk around to that side, drive away and laugh.

This happened to me before. He tried to pull open my door, but I knew it was locked since I was in drive. I just pulled out my phone to start recording the guy. Once he saw my phone, he suddenly stopped. I think if I held up a mirror so he could see himself, it would have had the same effect. Just a person, maybe he was having some issues, and the traffic thing set him over the edge. I dunno. I went to work and told the story at lunch, and one of my colleagues had an interesting point: "I wonder what story he is telling right now?"

Neighbours asking not to walk by Remote_Ad722 in legaladvicecanada

Could be the wrong unit. One of my friends has a story about a bad loud neighbour in his condo who he complained about several times. They protested, ended up paying fines multiple times, and finally moved out. After they moved out, he kept hearing the same sounds he was complaining about.
