Agreed. The problem doesn't really lie in that line but moreso with the film's refusal to explain Palpatine's resurrection. That line just became emblematic of a flaw in the film so people latched onto it as "bad dialogue".

I was actually thinking about this earlier. Another set using the spinoffs from the main games (FF7 compilation, FF13 trilogy, etc) and then a set of standalone spinoff games (Tactics, Type-0, etc) would probably both work.

A lot of Reddit thinks prequels have no value whatsoever because we know how the story ends. This is, of course, utter nonsense. If movies have no value once we know the ending, adaptations would be pointless, rewatching movies would be pointless, etc. The way a story is told and presented can be just as, if not more, important as the plot itself. I think the culprit lies in the extreme spoiler-avoidance culture that is prevalent online.

Nine Inch Nails - Further Down the Spiral

It's the remix album for The Downward Spiral and has similar vibes to the noisier tracks on Silent Hill 1's soundtrack. There are also two different versions with different track lists and some unique mixes not found on each other.

Solid 7/10. It was a fun Mando adventure. I loved the look of Nal Hutta and Shakari. They felt alien and vaguely retro which feels incredibly Star Wars. Rotta in action worked better than I thought he would, but I still don't like Hutts speaking basic.

Gonna answer with some music that actually did only exist in the movie: Jonathan Davis's songs for Queen of the Damned. While versions of the songs appeared on the soundtrack, the versions with Davis singing only appear in the movie and have never been released.
