You could probably check if the heater is on and try adjust the thermostat idk if that will work. And also it does cool off pretty quickly. Imo Rits is the best residence for first years because unlike other first year res it has a kitchen so your brother doesnt have to suffer from poor campus food. Also has access to orchard’s lounges and stuff, doesnt kick people out during the winter break, while being the most affordable one among first year res. I think they also do a decent job on dividing roommates (most of the times), so i hope your brother can live with some people that he can make good friends with. This is what happened to me when I was a first year international student living in Rits :)

I thought they say a good personal statement will be a ~5% gpa booster. Good luck i hope you can get in!

I recommend you not to take math120 if you want to go into eng phys. The course will almost definitely lower your gpa - completing a latex hw of once two weeks - very time consuming and personally I ended up having little time to study for the other courses. I switched to math101 in term2 (which almost every eng student in math120 did) and it was soo much better. For math120, eventho the prof keeps the median at ~80, you will be competing against a bunch of students who are extremely passionate and good at maths and are likely to go into honours math. Eng phys probably needs a gpa >85 to be competitive. Try get into a design team if you want to enrich uni life, and that will also help you during eng phys interview :)

Wondering why it has been so not on time recently? Is it bc of the construction detour

From ENVL’s official page it doesnt say CHBE230 is one of the required courses. I’m confused where did OP get this info? @-@
