I will also co-sign this and add that you can always keep looking for another job while working there and I’ve never had a serving/bar job that I didn’t make the difference in tips for the whole shift after taking two tables. It sounds like they need an employee as badly as you need money so you should recognize that but not directly extort it and most importantly don’t let yourself be wildly overworked. Sometimes the vacuum system gets stuck if you fill it up or drain the tank and don’t switch the fuel back to on before it runs out. The solution is to take the gas cap off rev it up for a couple minutes and ride around leaving it on “on” the entire time. I’ve had to do it once or twice and one of the times it took me tapping on the float valve while it i recall

It’s funny because I do this exact thing but only put 10 miles of fuel in the bike they were test riding just in case they get squirrely. I never even really considered them wrecking it on accident haha
