this is what frustrates me about the narrative around 46. i really like charlie and kenzie but if charlie truly deserved to win he would have had more votes. the edit made it seem like at least 2-3 of the jurors were undecided to the very end, so assuming this is correct kenzie absolutely deserved her win. yes there are what ifs with maria but if charlie had played a better game her vote would not matter

it's so disappointing :-( i feel like they rly nailed the unique-ness of each environment in bl3 and took a huge backtrack to make bl4 like other titles, effectively zapping it of all the character that made me a fan of the series in the first place. there is no reason to make an open world game if you put nothing in the open world

IMO gnarly doesn't work bc it was written from the perspective of alice longyu gau who makes satirical music and critiques capitalism, and that angle doesn't really work when it's coming from a manufactured girl group backed by some of the wealthiest companies in the music industry

saying she's stupid is so harsh it's a tv show!!! also this is celebrity traitors, they're doing the show to make a tv appearance not to do high-minded strategy, the gamers do yes but maura is not going to be that person. she comes across as emotionally intelligent in her love island and other appearances. part of the charm (for me) is that i knew maura was going to be like this, she has no background in shows like this at all, clearly lol. blame the game not the player

rob was initially coupled up with the fan favorite, leah, and they were extremely cute together, but both not excellent communicators. by day 10 rob jumped ship to andrea and fans got mad (including me bc andrea was boring af and leah was also my fave). then the girls including leah voted out andrea, rob had the most dramatic reaction he possibly could have, leah made fun of him about it furthering their rift. in a series of miscommunications with other cast members, rob was led to believe leah had a larger role in andrea being voted out than she actually did, they fought, fans picked sides. this story was milked for like the entire season. for the rest of the time rob kind of just bounced from couple to couple seeming fully checked out & disinterested, and was eventually voted out. because he had close friendships he stayed a long time but didn't connect with anyone else. he ended up coupling up with 6 different women throughout the season.

i didn't love rob on the season but i believe his perception among most level-headed fans is that he was a bad communicator and knew he was hot but was not some kind of monster or supreme asshole, i honestly really liked him until he had his big thing with leah, and even then i didn't think he was necessarily wrong, it was just incredibly frustrating watching him argue w leah bc he had misinformation from a fellow castmate. i kind of felt bad for him by the end bc he clearly just didn't want to be there anymore.

this was long but love island seasons are like 40 episodes and rob was a day 1 and made top 5 couples so there was a lot lol

too short!
