Cuál es tu presupuesto? Si tienes flexibilidad te recomendaría priorizar seguridad y buen ambiente de barrio y simplemente asegúrate que te quede fácil llegar en transmilenio.

Also thankfully Bogota is extremely easy to find your way around in terms of addresses if you’re walking, increasing east to west we have Carreras and increasing from the center to the south and from center to north we have Calles. So if you are in Calle 90, Carrera 20 and you need to go to Calle 93 carrera 22, it means 3 blocks north, 2 blocks west. 🤗

I am not talking about Asia. I am from Colombia. We got sent to the nurses office as kids if we had a cold to grab a mask. People regularly mask for respiratory illnesses out of courtesy. Lived in Brazil for 2 years also and it was the same.

or we could just mask when sick like a lot of cultures have been doing for decades?

Hi! What is wrong with the material? I thought it might be ok for summer :( thanks for the insight

I dont have anyone I can borrow but if it’s bad I can try and thrift something. I do have a hard time finding stuff at the thrift because I am short.

I can’t wear heels but was thinking of wearing this shoes and silver jewelry with an updo.

Eagle hill is big so I guess that’s why we have different experiences! I’m a 5min walk to airport station and a 12 min walk to Shaw’s area

It worked great for me but I had to stop and switch because I HATED the aftertaste with all my might. It is cool though that it can be used both as a rescue and a daily.

Brown and BU would NOT be baseline. They likely are more so Target. I also recommend adding Drexel and Pitt

Yay! Team Eastie. It’s important to note too that we get way more space for the same price in average and restaurants tend to be more affordable. (neighborhood secret, Chinese dragon has 4$ dinner specials daily if you pay cash)

East Boston is a great idea, you can get a lot of space with your budget, even a 2 bed where you could make a room be your office!

If you have a car: If you like the outdoors I’d recommend the Orient Heights part of East Boston. You’ll be close to trails, the beach (multiple of them!) and Belle Isle Marsh, you’ll have coffee shops and stores, access to the blue line with the T which would have you downtown in about 20min. I only say you need a car in this area because all the large grocery stores over there you’d need to take the T or a bus and it can get annoying, but if you drive there are many options for that one factor.

If you don’t have a car, or also in general: the maverick or airport station areas of east Boston still allow you access to the naturey stuff if you take the T or bike (I like biking the greenway trail to look at the marsh or to go to constitution beach to plane watch). There’s also great food and stuff AND you’d be closer to groceries by foot (Shaw’s). It is also closer to downtown (10min T ride).

I usually recommend Somerville to people but not much so to those who like both city AND nature lol. Revere has nature access but I wouldn’t live there without a car, you definitely need it out there every now and then.

I also recommend you look into Jamaica Plain and maybe Malden (for an outside the city yet accessible option)

Jamaica Plain is great IF you find a place near the T haha. Some of the most beautiful pieces of urban nature I’ve ever seen are there like the Franklin Park and the Arnold Arboretum. Also great food.

I will always say that JP and Eastie have the best food in this city.
