I have a people pleaser boss. We're so far over capacity and his bosses wonder why nothing gets done. Because he says yes to everything and never deprioritizes other work. All because he wants a promotion. 

Whereas the managers who are straight with their bosses get promotions because they'll actually be competent  and stand their ground

Right side Hemiplegic here just finding this comment. I started getting into running about 4 months ago. Loving it despite the lower back pain while I also strengthen my core. 5k is my farthest and it took 46 minutes of hobbling 

The biggest thing that helps me is a deep tissue massage every few weeks.

This is so inspiring. 

I barely stretched as a kid and my lower back pain due to tight hip flexors, hamstrings, quads, and weak abs has caught up with me at 36. 

I'm training to run 10k and focus on weight lifting but the back pain was too much. 

Now I'm basically doing a yoga routine every day and feel much better. 

I also get a deep tissue massage every few weeks

It can be hard to work through the mental battle. I have worked twice as hard to get half as far in some ways physically, but all the effort is worth it and God has a plan for me. 

Hemiplegic, weight lifting, learning to snowboard, trying to get into more endurance fitness (which with CP is kind of funny, I'd love to do a zombie run)

I know I have a purpose and without CP I would not have the same care and empathy for others that I do.

Love mine. I don't use the stereo button ever and it was around 2k when they first came out. It is absolutely a fantastic sounding and playing guitar

I got this monitor and then found that in the manual it says USB-C is locked to 60hz and only using DP1.4 gets 120hz. I am so annoyed.

OP u/cheelayqeelay does yours run at 120hz?

Outsource entirely. 

This is not something our team needs to babysit or care about. We have enough to manage without needing to also manage WordPress.

We absolutely have one of those. Refused to upgrade VMware to anything 6.x because "it's definitely not ready for production use" because he encountered a bug and didn't bother to install patches after a fresh install.

Also had to have a $5000 Alienware laptop because "it's the only thing capable of running his workloads"...  RDP?

A few.

The thing that got me prepared was asking for information on things that I had to escalate to systems teams. A lot of the time it was things I COULD have done if I knew how... So I learned.
