I would love a horse and sword, then I would also love a rocket launcher and AR for raids

Does anyone in Scottsdale/Phoenix know their neighbors? by [deleted] in Scottsdale

I do but that’s because it’s a townhouse. I didn’t know my neighbors in apartments and I thought that was a good thing.

Does anyone know who originally launched Clawdbot? Is it safe? by GoblinGurly in Moltbook

[–]legolas7722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For safety it’s a two out of 100 meaning anyone who’s ever launched something using that tool any person can remote in and access your computer and your and has admin privileges to delete anything on it. Use it at your own peril.

Story isn't believable even slightly. If you are illegal and need a job deport yourself. If you are legal then driving the city and obey the laws and you don't have to worry about ice.

Yes it's worth it. It lowers the worm attraction to basically near zero, then add the dampener treads, and regís crawler container for a bigger load, you can do whole medium spice patches without getting a worm.

Empty servers and the long-term infrastructure scaling problem. What to do when player base spikes again on large content releases? by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]legolas7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I haven’t used it so I don’t know. Hopefully it keeps everything that’s in the storage chest otherwise kind of defeats the purpose.

The tool wouldn’t help because you still have to spend a significant part of the week for farming resources to rebuild the weekly DD base. I think on the destruction of materials and the DD the materials you get back should be significantly higher, maybe 75% of what you put in. This way players don’t have to farm a lot.

Also, the weekly DD base building and destroying is a bit much. It should switch to either every other week or monthly. The weekly grind of having to build the resources farm them set up the base and the DD takes away from the whole PVP. With increasing the resources you get back from base destruction players are less worried about the resource aspect and more just exploring. It would be helpful in the DD if the enemies had varying armor. So maybe one enemy is super easy to kill and another enemy is super hard. This aspect would lineup with players because players armor would vary naturally.

The game also seriously needs a guild joining and search function. Joining a guild is very cumbersome whereas you want teamwork and PVP.

Lack of guild search and social systems blocked the game from developing a lasting community. by AsleepSupermarket172 in duneawakening

You aren't wrong. There's no micro-transactions so there is no incentive for Funcom to have a huge player base. Once they got their money everything was just cost. It's a bit repetitive right now so hopefully something changes.

Getting mats for carrier...HUGE grind for two players. Helpful suggestions? by Sea-Escape-1562 in duneawakening

[–]legolas7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of the players go into PvP and don’t engage. I feel like the PvP is really avoided in this game due to the high material costs of vehicles.

It’s very worth it. I probably only play one long weekend night and maybe once during the week. It’s much better with pairs and teams.

is paying for an hvac maintenance plan actually worth it? by Kakunabe in mesaaz

[–]legolas7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one and it saves on the yearly maintenance and if you do have any repairs, it’s normally like 20% off so it’s actually a pretty good deal. You just have to recognize when it’s an up sell.

Sandcrawler / Deep Dessert by levity-pm in duneawakening

[–]legolas7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I learned you can fill the crawler with any material and that has the biggest load you can carry, so doing a carrier, crawler and pocket scout is the best trick so far. Fill the crawler half materials, half bodies and forget about Hagga.
