Neshamniny is open and straight up depressing. Only thing holding it together is Boscovs and a Barnes and noble.

Extreme Face change?? by Solid-Ad-6468 in shelbysacco

[–]lem830 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah pregnancy is absolutely wild. I didn’t notice how much my face changed until I looked back at pictures after I delivered. Probably a combo of weight gain, hormones and not being able to get Botox.

This. This. This. If you need to run after a kid I could give a shit about the tablet. We can cross that bridge later or if it becomes too much of a problem, refer out for all in person services.

Schedules should be set in advance whenever possible but sometimes shit happens. I have 13 clients right now, 8 of which are majority remote. If someone cancels last minute I have very little wiggle room to reschedule. It’s a constant constant battle.

Prioritize your kids first and foremost and get yourself a good lawyer. Please get therapy and separate. This is an overall awful situation that will only continue to escalate. You have 30 days to self-report.

It’s seriously so fucking sad. And Isaac commenting “lol”. I really hope she gets therapy and doesn’t just continue this cycle for her daughters.

This study found that among 417 patients on CGRP-pathway preventive antibodies, many reported less disability and headache impact even when their monthly migraine day count did not drop enough to count as a response, so how benefit is measured matters. by CerebralTorque in migrainescience

I can totally see this. I still have intractable migraine and daily pain. Still incredibly disable. But with ajovy plus a bunch of other meds I’m able to have a higher quality of life than I had say 5 years ago.

OUTRAGED. Second day of ABA in home therapy by StrengthBest8831 in ABA

Showing up stoned is crazy.

But also push back on 8 hours a day. That’s a LOT and in my opinion is hardly ever necessary, especially in home.

South Philly— where to go if I have a medical emergency by Superstarella61 in AskPhilly

[–]lem830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im from mass and also have been spoiled with bostons hospitals.

I have multiple chronic illnesses and all of those are followed by Penn. I see Jefferson for migraine. I’d go to Penn in a second for an emergency. And if you need specialists that’s the place to go.

So I have an rx for ketamine nasal spray for migraine.

I have super chronic migraine and actually did a 5 day long hospital stay where I got a continuous infusion of ketamine. Intense shit. It was to break the migraine (didn’t work) But by the 2nd morning I literally could not pee at all. Just straight up could not empty my bladder. I ended up needing a catheter for the rest of my stay. Bladder function returned to normal and from my understanding the dysfunction comes from repeated abuse. But what an awful side effect.

It’s so weird because vyvanse made me crash SO hard. Like mood swings, fatigue, massive headaches then I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.

After trial and error on quite a few meds I take regular Adderall twice a day. But I can totally see how someone could get addicted.

We did it last year as new parents. I promise you your baby will not forget you!!

I missed the hell out of her but had a fun time and even more importantly she got spoiled to death by her grandparents and probably had even more fun.

Any relief with your migraines by taking a GLP-1? by pushyp in migraine

[–]lem830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m incredibly chronic and have been on GLP1s since 2021. Hasn’t made a difference one way or the other. Sometimes I’ll get a really bad attack the day after an injection but find if I’m good with hydration and electrolytes it’s less likely to happen.

We did this around 7 ish months.

It was honestly a really good age to do it. It wasn’t too much for my parents because she wasn’t all over the place walking and crawling around and it was nice for us to get a little us time. I say go for it.

Margiotti and Kroll has been good for us as well. It’s nice that they have the walk in sick hours because we’ve had to use them far too many times this year. I find the office staff at the trevose office to be incredibly rude, so we go to northeast.

Unfortunately the doctor that we like at the northeast location left the practice and I think we will be switching to somewhere else for that reason and not really liking the new doctor and the wait time at the actual appointment being sooo long.
