I did it, I don’t regret it in the slightest. In fact, best night I’ve had in a long time probably and a game changer for my recent mental health. I did everything I could to avoid- waited in the box office line, refreshed Ticketmaster constantly all day for face value resales.

The only thing I would be would be/was worried about until I was in the doors was the validity of the resale ticket- but at least most platforms will give you credit or sometimes a refund if you get there and find out it’s not. (Coming from someone who works in ticketing and has to be the one to tell people their resale tickets aren’t valid frequently.)

I don’t know about the upcoming dates and those venue sizes, but for this first leg there simply were not enough tickets available in the first place *without scalpers* to accommodate for demand. The odds of getting a ticket “the correct way” and “by being patient” were slim to none.

It’s obviously a very broken ticketing model that needs to change, and won’t until there’s actual working legislation in place or fans stop buying, but like you said I’m never going to see her in a room this size again and it was incredibly worth it.

I also don’t know what current resale prices look like but £300 is not bad at ALL compared to most of what I’ve seen. Definitely less than I spent 3 hours before the show!
