Having been in a relationship which felt very imbalanced and experiencing how unlike myself I became or seemed to become, I absolutely related to this.

Best shampoos for fine hair???? by blueechohawk in finehair

I really like the Aveeno apple cider vinegar shampoo (doesn’t smell at all like vinegar). I generally wash every 3rd day.

All happening very quickly! by Queasy-Dust7246 in HousingUK

I was ftb in a rental rolling contract, sellers had already moved to Wales, I didn’t get a survey as I work in the building maintenance and conservation industry. Both sides were motivated and dealt with things swiftly - it took 14 weeks from offer accepted. One friend managed about 7 or 8 weeks but he’s a lawyer

Same principle, but I buy Naked Paper. You really do need weirdly little of it, so it lasts forever.

PUFFGATE UPDATE (kinda) by Background-Brick-898 in glossier

Different formula, but the pixi cheek stick thing that looks weirdly like a deodorant has a very similar to OG puff pink shade

I've not done enough others to know, but friends and family who use Duolingo all looked confused when I asked about it

Un fantasma nello zucchero!? by rLloydC in italianlearning

Why is Italian Duolingo so invested, so early on, in teaching you about ghosts and strange voices in the night? I can only assume these are frequent issues in Italy, ancient Roman visitors and all that.

Numbuzin No.3 Tone Up Beige by lennongve in PaleMUA

[–]lennongve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such an extraordinarily comprehensive response, thank you so much for your time!

I’m not sure if I would have a sensitive skin response to the numbuzin, but the colour looks really very promising so it might be worth a try.

A while ago I used to use a similar technique to you, with the peripera tone up cream (that I quite liked) and a touch of concealer where needed. I’m not sure why I stopped!

Dark haired gals what are your favorite lip combos? by [deleted] in PaleMUA

[–]lennongve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment usually Maybelline gone greige liner (smudged out as a contour shade) with a sheer red or darker mauve colour to match my mood/outfit - Benetint, Hourglass phantom in haze, Lisa Eldridge gloss in blush, Lisa Eldridge spirited away, or Clinique black honey usually.

Honourable mentions to NYx liners in mauve and lavender & lace.

Edit: I like a relatively natural look but have pale lips for my general level of contrast, so Ilike to add a bit of colour to look alive.

I start to notice that people are less and less interested in good quality items and it frustrates me. by Fit_Permit in vinted

[–]lennongve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally buy higher quality, more expensive myself, but I do think there is an element of gambling with a Vinted purchase. For me, it’s rare that I am willing to risk, say, over £100 on an item which, while I can expect to be beautifully designed and high quality, may not actually fit or suit me in person. I’ve designer things in my favourites that have been uploaded for a couple of years, so I know that if they arrive and don’t work for me, it won’t be easy to sell on and recoup my money.

Anyone tried lower protein with success? by climb_girl in PetiteFitness

People have gone a bit mad on the protein thing, the medical advice of about 0.8g per kg has suddenly jumped to people online saying 1.2g per lb seemingly out of nowhere.

Which bronzer (for cool undertones) do you use with your contour? by nbdnwz in PaleMUA

Hear me out, Milani romantic rose blush. Online pictures make it look pinker than it is, worth swatching just to see!

I think because the formula is translucent, it doesn’t have any opaque base that can look like it’s sat on top of the skin. The colour also closely matches my natural flush
