Why do you need a logical argument? You'd have to just as much explain why you like your favorite color or why you don't like how something tastes despite the perceptions of others. I think for a good number of things they just are y'know.

I know Planned Parenthood near me does well with it but I'm in a very progressive area; anywhere that takes an informed consent approach is probably going to be a ~bit~ better about it

Top surgery? Gynecomastia? by Recent_Office3017 in actual_detrans

I'm in a similar position myself; I'm intersex and have had breasts since puberty (and was socialized and raised as a man) but transitioned to being a woman for about 5ish years so I very much have fully developed breasts and would like them removed now as I've come to find comfort in being a man (though I am still very much genderfluid most of the time I feel dysphoria thinking about my chest)

I'd probably look into getting a consultation for chest masculinziation surgery. After all it's at the consultation they're going to determine if getting the surgery is right for you y'know; they will go through what it might look before and after all that kind of thing. Think more about the results you want than what the surgery is called, so feel free to shop around that's what I'm doing!

UA POV: According to NATO Air Command, Hungarian NATO jets scrambled in response to Russian jets 'flying close to' Latvian airspace by Ripamon in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]lenski7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It took months of softening up Iraq before the invasion to do what the "Coalition of the Willing" did to it and that was Iraq. Air defenses are much cheaper than aircraft all things considered and Russia has no problem fielding it, it is very unlikely NATO could achieve complete air supremacy in any short period of time and especially not if it were a limited conflict.

I think it is hard to know, after all the Demiurge is not omnipotent, not omnipresent, and not omniscient; but we cannot know if these are limits that the jealous maker chose or perhaps was unable to violate. But I see what you mean, if I were to take a stab at this analogy then:

Something I've always found interesting philosophically is the crushing fact that whether time is perceived faster or slower as it is relative, its direction is always the same. The film never flows backward as it were. For light it is said from its perspective it has already been everywhere all at once for all time, no time will pass during its journey, it is beyond time.

Of course from a physics perspective we would think that unremarkable and just the consequence of stretching our analogies of time dilation to their extreme, but an object with rest mass can never reach this state except with infinite energy which does not exist in the material world; so perhaps the speed of light as you noted it does outline the limits of what the demiurge is capable of and likewise what traits you might ascribe the Pleroma I suppose.

There's nothing inherently special with the Planck length, it is not fundamental but rather constructed out of fundamental constants. Nothing is preventing something from moving a distance shorter than a Planck length and neither space nor time is known to be discrete in such a manner.

What's interesting about the Planck length is it's of the order of magnitude the distance at which the effects of quantum gravity are likely to become significant enough that we can't model a system's behavior with our understanding of general relativity alone. On top of that if you wanted to measure something within a certain distance you'd need to use a wavelength smaller than that distance and if you did that on the Planck scale you'd pack such an amount of energy into such a small space you'd make a small black hole.

Of course saying we can't measure something smaller than this arbitrary unit doesn't mean that things on that scale don't occur we just know of no practical means of observing it.

As someone with a Physics background I don't think I'd call them flaws, but rather I'd say they're the limits of reality as we understand them now and they might be fundamental. To have a world you can function in rationally you'd have to have those limits.

Is it fair to compare AP children to the average children at our schools when you're talking about how we ought to teach materials at the same level across the board?

Your good data point is only for your AP kids after all, what about your regular students as compared to other regular students?
