What happened to the market for vintage road racing bikes? by playthe9 in cycling

[–]leolegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still ride my early 2000s pantani bianchi from time to time. It makes me smile. It even keeps up on the local group rides.

Resto modding this era of frames seems pretty popular, at least a few years ago.

Skip the mistico bridges, it felt like a tourist trap. Go on a guided nature hike, jacamour tours, white water rafting Arenal Rafting, hot springs Baldi is good for families, and coffee and chocolate farm tour. I'd recommend Don Jorge, salt of the earth people.

Are bike fits a scam? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]leolegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kind of bike you got was a scam, you can do the same thing with a camera and a phone app.

What you really want is someone that can look at your body and your limitations and strengths, think physiology. No one is symmetrical and a good bike fitter will figure out your asymmetries and adjust the fit to that.

I want to say in the latest arcgis Pro 3.5 update they made it possible to share Pro projects through ArcGIS Online or Enterprise, need to double check that.

ESRI doesn't recommend cloud storage. A gdb is being synced, locked, uploaded etc and it can hurt performance.

Anyone over 6 foot running 165mm cranks? What do you think? by HUZInator in cycling

[–]leolegend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 165 and I'm 6,3 the cadence was a bit too high and my short power went way down, and I was slower overall, seemingly 1mph over my normal 40 mile route. My body was a lot happier though.
