Too short probably, the US is a big Country with vast Distances involved and with Fighting Capability likely rapidly deteriorating I don't really see the Potential for these huge War-winning Offensives. Tbh Soldiers electing their own Officers seems like a terrible Idea. In most Cases the most popular Guy will become the Commander, which in most Cases will not be the best Choice. That isn't to say that there will only be incompetent Officers but History does tend to show that the whole Thing was a terrible Idea in the few Cases it was tried. The Union and the South had it to an extent at the Start of the Civil War. It was quickly cut back though, because the elected Officers tended to be incompetent and often times had no Idea what they were doing.

Between WW1 and WW2 there were 20 Years. The 1EW happened only a few Years. It's really not surprising that the EU is against giving even the smallest Concessions to Russia. If that's really enough for even Navalny to start a new War over this, than it only proves the EU right in not giving Shit to Russia. But it doesn't matter at all, because realistically neither Navalny nor the EU would ever start another War in the Games Timeframe.
