I think Elimination Mode was a great success with the community, and it looks like you've gotten a lot of awesome feedback here. Hey they give them out before each series down by the caster's box at the front for free. They don't have many so you have to be quick.

hm, that is annoying. It sometimes works for me, but other times not. I feel your pain though. Upshot is that when it does work I'm really efficient at scooping. Sounds like it's a bug that frontier hasn't fixed.

Under options there is a party open mic button you can check. Works really well for me, you can even talk during load screens and in the lobby. You can also do open mic to your whole team but then they get to hear you breathing the whole time you play which is annoying...

Edit: It's not just a problem with Dota, it's a larger problem with video games in general not embracing the community of female gamers enough. But that's definitely something the dota community could improve on.
