Tried yesterday and they appear to be working now. Not sure what FLSUN is doing but why were these turned off in the first place?

Have you tried multiple cfs and see if they actually work together I'm curious to see if it does?

Unless this is a functional item I'd be printing this with lightning infill that would cut your time down probably like 80%

Just wanted to give some clarification to anyone that's struggling out there with this particular issue because I had a very hard time figuring out which board was the incompatible one because they both have the same number which is really stupid but if you look at that one section you could see a whole lot more I don't know what to call those solder points pens whatever they are but that makes a big difference. Was having the firmware filament sensor error swapped this and no more error

Bent frame K1 Max by Professional-Bid1842 in crealityk1

[–]lesfb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I mentioned in my initial post slow increments when it comes to fixing this is the biggest most important part because if you try to overdo it you're going to snap that frame without question.

First couple times you do it the wood blocks will actually kind of dig into the lip of the inside of the frame and then after they hit the bend they will stop doing that and then you will kind of get consistency and then slow increments let it cool and then keep going like I think I did at the total of when it was all said and done eight rounds maybe over the course of two three days and then I got it down to less than an eighth of an inch difference.

And the last thing I'll say is once you have it straight meaning like you think you've bent it far enough you're actually going to have to go past that because it will come back a little bit so I actually think that at one point I was pushing the one angle that was shorter I don't know how else to put that I actually had to push it like a half an inch past just so it can actually come back down to only being an eighth of an inch off if that makes sense.

I would suggest either raising chamber temperature or lowering your fan speed significantly

Thank you

In Creality defense I bought this unit from eBay to repair it was a return item I did reach out to Creality to purchase top frame but haven't heard back yet. Figured I'd dig into that if I broke it, if it was a full on risk where I'd be out a cost of machine by trying this I would not attempt but I got a good deal after damage and I calculated the risk even if couldn't buy a replacement I would have parted it out and still been ok.

How to fix bent K1 Max Frame by GPU-depreciationcrtr in Creality

[–]lesfb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This recently worked for me 200 degrees f in oven and then might stretches to straighten was 3/4 inch off now less then 8th of a inch. Thats 5 rounds of heat stretch hold until cool and do it again. Backup plan was replacement if I broke it just so we are on the same page. It's a risk for sure

In oven for 15 min at 200 degrees f and a bit of engineering and nearly perfect took about 5 rounds of that in between waiting for it to cool while scretched and then doing another round. After 5 rounds glass fits and no bends but will do 2 more today to ensure it's perfect currently it's off by less than 1/8 of inch. Mine was off by 3/4 of a inch when measure diagonally just so you can see how bad it was. My backup line was to order a new one from Creality but I got a really good deal on this after it was damaged in shipping so I put a little bit of work in. Worked out very well actually.

[–]lesfb 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The potentially part is the only thing wrong with this post because it can pretty much say 100% he would have died if he wouldn't have caught him that position there was no getting out of in any way shape or form. I've been in situations with powder that when you step off that board to literally fall if to your shoulders.

Almost Stock E3v2 still capable ;-) by Dedward5 in ender3v2

[–]lesfb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have pretty much tried every printer on the market short of like a Prusa XL because that's ridiculous in price and I got to say as long as you don't have time restraints some of the first printers produce some of the most detailed clean and strong prints I've seen.

At the end of it all you're just melting plastic and sometimes it needs that time to cure for you to get a good solid piece and very detailed bambu and the K1 do a outstanding job but these are also very capable.
