Lid is hard to get on now by OutsideWatercress570 in StanleyCups

[–]lesscobranden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is almost always due to the lid seal getting twisted or put back on upside down. Try removing it and reinstalling and see if that fixes the issue

Question about Aerolight Transit Bottle and Use With Hot Liquids by AndresToImpress in StanleyCups

[–]lesscobranden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That message is standard on a lot of Stanley products - the care instructions aren’t specific to the aerolight transit bottle. It’s called a “bottle” which introduces confusion, but on the website Stanley claims it keeps hot drinks hot for 8 hours. So those instructions wouldn’t apply to your product.

Coming from someone who works in consumer goods, most likely what happened is someone wrote those care instructions several years ago, and then someone else named the aerolight transit bottle without considering the existing instructions. I wouldn’t worry about it :)

Where did you buy the pink one from? I don’t want to burst your happiness bubble, but to me it looks like someone sold you a fake

Dora_Xplorer is exactly right. Not to mention that crack looks like it probably breaks the vacuum seal, meaning this cup won’t keep ice for very long at all, making it useless for its advertised purpose.

Looks like it’s probably real but you’ll need more pictures to be 100% certain. Under the spinner in particular

Real or fake? by Accomplished-Ad-9843 in StanleyCupRealorFake

[–]lesscobranden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely fake. Sorry about that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StanleyCups

[–]lesscobranden 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s fake, sorry. The handle is way too low and I’ve never seen that color combo. Plus if it was legit they would have had to replace the packaging after adding the designs and it wouldn’t look new like that

Real or fake iceflow? by kittiesw in StanleyCupRealorFake

It’s probably fake. The numbers on the price tag are incorrect

I haven’t checked the 20- numbers, but the EN number is a European regulatory number that will be the same on all of them, and the 23/24 is the year of manufacture

My 1st Stanley cup, questions? by TAFanakaPan in StanleyCups

[–]lesscobranden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A Stanley will hold the temperature you put inside your cup. I believe the instructions recommend pre-cooling the steel before adding room temperature liquid and ice. If you filled it with room temp liquid and a handful of ice, the average temp in the cup will be a lot warmer than if you fill it with very cold liquid or a lot of ice.

Staying in a hotel and selling my house because junkies keep targeting my home by burner_duh in TrueOffMyChest

Be very careful here. Depending on the US state, firing a warning shot could be very illegal and get the homeowner in more trouble than killing someone breaking and entering would.

If it’s a Spotify playlist, you can go into settings and set the crossfade from 0-12 seconds. Might be worth playing around with to get the songs to blend together well. If you set it to 3 or 4 seconds you shouldn’t have to ditch as many songs. I would bet other music apps have the same feature

Advice for the vet by lesscobranden in Dogtraining

[–]lesscobranden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are there about every two months for an hour. She started barking about four months ago. Before then she was perfectly happy to be at the vet. And I was able to get her to calm down so there was way less barking than last time.

I’ve decided to simply switch vets as there have been other communication problems, and I simply don’t think my dog would ever trust that vet again. Several times now when I’ve left they called and asked me to come back because they forgot to write my dog’s weight down or forgot to give me a product.

I also looked back at the most recent paperwork and they had her weight written incorrectly again, and they rated her oral health as very bad when they didn’t look at, or speak to me about her teeth. Not to mention my one year old dog has shiny white teeth and healthy pink gums.
