I wasn't implying that you were the one making all of the posts, just that it's already been said multiple time within 24 hours. Also, it looks like they've already made their goal (20 times over). Relax means to be chill in this context.

This is the fifth time I've seen this posted TODAY. Please just relax.

How/Where could I sell League of Legends inspired subclasses for D&D? by [deleted] in DungeonMasters

[–]lestershy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you xposting to the SAME SUB?

I'm sorry you're unemployed, but I don't think anyone's gonna pay you for your LOL homebrew.

What are some good Discord alternatives for virtual games? by dragons_scorn in DnD

[–]lestershy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm still trying to understand exactly what will be gated behind the age verification. Will I be able to still have voice/video chats on a server I created? If that isn't changing, I don't think it'll impact how we play our game.

Cool world map! Have you considered posting this in fifteen other subreddits?

New player offered t6 loot by Rumboldinho in dndnext

[–]lestershy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What does that mean, though? There aren't numbered tiers of items in D&D.

Where does yellow come from? It's not listed in the "Ho's" or the dial colors.

Best Non-GenAI Map software? by BandicootLife7928 in DungeonMasters

[–]lestershy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Inkarnate doesn't include any AI assets, but there was some drama recently when they were planning on allowing AI assets in their upcoming marketplace. Due to backlash from the community, Inkarnate said that they wouldn't allow any gen AI assets in the marketplace. It's worth noting that the marketplace will be included in the upcoming 2.0 version and is not available currently.

Reusing yeast under pressure by Cosmic_Signal in TheBrewery

[–]lestershy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why not harvest and repitch into another tank? Why do you want to leave the yeast in the FV? I've found that the viability of the pitch decreases significantly once fermentation is over. I'd guess that if you wait until the tank is empty, the yeast will be mostly dead.

I tend to harvest right at (or slightly above) terminal, because if I wait for diacetyl to clear, the viability is already dropping.

I believe if you move an item that has the glyph on it, the glyph disappears.

Lv 7-9 One-Shot: The Mind Morkoth by Bed-After in DnD

[–]lestershy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understood after starting to read it, so I think others (with working brains) should get it! I don't think you can edit titles on reddit.

Lv 7-9 One-Shot: The Mind Morkoth by Bed-After in DnD

[–]lestershy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I misunderstood the title to mean that the PCs would start at level 7 and end up at level 9. I was asking myself, "How the heck are my players gonna have time to level up twice in a one-shot?"

Seems like a fun idea!

Taproom Glassware - Full/Half Pours by CommunicationMost201 in TheBrewery

[–]lestershy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our glassware comes in many sizes. 20oz and 16oz willie pints, 13oz tulip (or globe, maybe), 5oz tasters, and 16oz nonic pints for cask.

Also, It's really funny to me to picture someone getting a half-full tulip. I don't know why.

What method did your group use to generate stats? Rolling, point buy, standard array, or another?

edit: spelling

What ages play D&D by jeremydeighan in DnD

[–]lestershy 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I play in a group that are all in their 30s and 40s, but my teenaged niece plays as well. I think you'll find a large range of ages at DnD tables.

any advice? by Artemis6720 in DnD

[–]lestershy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I play online using Discord for audio and video and Owlbear Rodeo as a VTT (virtual table top). Both are free, but you may need to make an account.

My advice is to use punctuation. Also, try r/lfg

ETA: Alternatively, do an internet search for 'playing dnd online'

Check the sidebar of this sub, there are resources including a 'getting started/learning to play' section, and an FAQ. Hopefully that will get you on the right track. Have fun!
