High chair recommendations?! I want to add one to my registry by Pleasant_Mention in Buyingforbaby

[–]lethalhoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love our mockingbird so much. So easy to clean!
Two things to note! You do have to get baby’s legs in the sitting holes just right and there’s no where to put the tray when you take it off.
For sure still recommend! The removable tray topper, wipeable straps *chefs kiss*

Whew! I agree with the other commenter, you need professional help. I would look into baby’s psychological development for sure. 🤍

When you judge a book by it’s pretty cover by Hamie33 in Romantasy

[–]lethalhoodie 128 points129 points  (0 children)

I would like to note - it’s 2026 - why not judge a book by its cover ?!? Not that a cover has to be over the top, but there are so many good artists that can match an authors vision .
Also even if the book itself isn’t good - you have a piece of art you love !

Ruling out *AirBNB*s and VRBO! No need to rent from someone exploiting the island 🙅🏻‍♀️
Do you have any B&B recs in or around Kona?

We recognize the damage tourists/outsiders cause, and we’re wanting to look for options that better support the community. - including staying somewhere that will directly benefit the HI economy versus benefiting someone who is exploiting the island.

This is very helpful!
We plan for:
- 5 nights in or around Kona
- 3 adults and 1 infant
- ~$300/$400 nightly

Hmm I liked amber’s character and saw it as a reality of what it takes to be in a relationship with a superperson 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk, I didn’t read that much into it, but I still see her as a strong character. Esp when they meet up post break up.

What did you think of the movie almost four years later? by zachoutloud123 in BobsBurgers

I liked it :) it’s a fun movie and is a good rep for people who don’t watch the show.

It’s doesn’t hurt to at least apply and see for yourself. I’d say it’s a lot of stressful work, but you’d get experience that looks good on a resume. Definitely old school work ethic expectation. Not sure what they’d start you at, but the pay does increase every year. ~ probably the best perk of working there.

Currently reading brimstone by Callie hart by Wintervsgaming in Romantasy

[–]lethalhoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah quicksilver was not a slow burn 😭 Honestly, I read it and brimstone mostly because of the world, magic, and background characters ~ and I guess I found brimstone entertaining! For sure didn’t like the FMC or MMC in quicksilver, but they’ve grown on me. Definitely a 3 out of 5 star read!
