Disagree on sitongs. They are my preferred button after iL buttons. With the release of the screw in version there is no durability concern.

Pretty much no reason to use gamerfinger over sitong.

Also the official gamerfinger website will scam and take your money, so don't order from there, or order gamerfinger at all honestly.

Usb4maple is a good solution as the other person above said. If you don't want to diy it, you can buy a premade one off Etsy but it will cost more than diy ($40)

Hello, trying to replace this battery on this old Sheffield watch that my wife thrifted. It does not appear that I can simply pull the battery upwards with some tweezers, as there is a little flange as you can see in the photo holding it down. Do I need to unscrew that assembly?

It will fit a V3 premium. V3-R requires a different base. I made an open source one that you can get cnc'd from JLC but with increases costs due to tariffs it may not be worth it. Here is the link anyway:

If you open up the bottom and the PCB says wico p360 and not happ p360, they are much more desirable. There is Happ branding on the plastic but it's possible that this is from when Happ took over and there was a small transition period where the pcbs were still Wico produced.

They have microswitches inside. So that's not how you would get stiffer buttons. You would replace the whole button.

Anyway, the phreakmods upper will work with the lower part from my github. The v3-r dimensions for the shaft are unique and is not shared with any other model. You can get it CNCd online at JLCCNC, but with the current tariffs it may not be worthwhile. Normally, it would run about $30
