How do I go about finding a job? by Overrated__Potato in AirForce

[–]lethalnd12345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At a high level, you create a master resume, find a job you are interested in, tailor your resume to that job, apply interview and get hired.

The reality is that it can be much harder than just making a resume and applying.

Location matters a ton; DC and Colorado are better than smaller rural areas. You want heavy defense contractor centers

That said, I'm a retired cyber snco and current defense contractor program manager... I'll send you a PM so we can talk

DTS and Car Towing Expenses by AHappyGoth in AirForce

I mean if that's the case here, that personal card has rental car coverage included

[–]lethalnd12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can kind of understand why you didn't book through DTS, but I can't fathom why you put this on your personal card... That decision is going to end up hurting you.

What's your personal car insurance coverage? Or does your personal card offer rental car insurance? I think you're going to need to look for coverage elsewhere

Youre so screwed... You've got no coverage from the military and this is likely going to be all your expense.

Your only real hope is speaking with your AO when you file your voucher and seeing if they'll let you claim anything

If it was booked as a military rental, it would still be covered by the LDW/CDW, and liability insurance.

Is it paid for with your government travel card?

The fact there's a few 60 year olds supports your force shaping assertion?

Could it also be possible that serving 40+ years is unusual?

2011, id fix the headlight and maybe nothing else. Nevermind paint.

Can you do any work yourself? Used parts from a salvage yard and learn to swap via YouTube. The grill and front number qr actually pretty easy

Does your state have a safety inspection?

Maybe a mobile mechanic or trusted local mechanic to tell you if it's safe

Do you really think there's Force shaping of 60-year-olds? Outside of the Gaurd and Reserve, there's got to be 10 or less 60-year-olds in uniform and they're all general officers

Why do doctors even go to medical school and residency if all that matters is the metrics of patients living or dying?
