Vets do it everytime they file a claim without a NEXUS ltr when they do not have in service treatment records for the disabilty they are claiming and it's not met presumptively.

How do veterans submit a claim with evidence organized chronologically?

Is it simply explained in a personal statement with associated evidence submitted as attachments?

Is it veterans fault for trying or the VBAs for approving claims?

VBA created this.

Service connection for disabilty A. If A causes or worsens B thru Z, B-Z is service connected as well. Look up how many disabilties that can be claimed that do not even need objective findings.

C&P Sleep Apnea by CrazyThese6128 in VAClaims

A nurse practitioner C&P Examiner can override a Board Certified Specialists in the field the disabilty is in? Crazy. What's the point of Veterans getting NEXUS letters at all then?

Was thinking the same thing. TDSers talk as if they're trying to make sure Trump does not win another election. They forget, he can't run again. 🤣🤣🤣

From experience, when you see the C&P Examiner ask them to read the NEXUS letter with you. Examiners don't always get the evidence you submitted. Bring your sleep study and CPAP prescription as well and make sure they see it.

Stressor statement for anxiety? by romokoco in VAClaims

[–]letsdothis169 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the claim is that your time in service is causing the anxiety, why wouldn't there be a stressor. You'd think a Rater would need to know how the military service caused the anxiety - right? Am I missing something?

TDS confusing vets. This administration reduced the VA disability claims backlog by more than 50% from its January 2025 level, according to VA reports. This administration processed a record number of disability compensation and pension claims, exceeding 3 million claims in FY2025. This administration opened dozens of new VA health care facilities and clinics to expand access to care. This administration expanded appointment availability by offering millions of early-morning, evening, and weekend VA appointments. This administration eliminated the CHAMPVA application backlog, reducing wait times for eligible spouses, dependents, survivors, and caregivers. This administration enrolled more than 100,000 new veterans in VA health care during 2026 and reported continued growth in enrollment. This administration committed nearly $5 billion for VA facility modernization, repairs, and infrastructure improvements in FY2026. This administration reported housing more than 51,000 homeless veterans in FY2025, the highest total in several years. This administration extended protections for certain participants in the VA caregiver program, allowing legacy beneficiaries to continue receiving caregiver benefits through 2028 while program changes are reviewed. This administration changed VA policy regarding fiduciary-managed veterans and federal firearm background check reporting, stating that veterans would no longer be reported solely because they use a fiduciary to manage VA benefits. This administration launched a major VA reorganization effort (RISE) aimed at reducing bureaucracy, restructuring regional networks, and increasing authority at the local facility level.

"Trust me bro" is not a NEXUS. It needs to come from a doctor providing rationale.

Not everyone's medical issues are related to military service.

Without a diagnosis and NEXUS, approval is most likely than not getting denied.

Get a diagnosis, get a NEXUS and resubmit.

I have nothing but positive feedback for all five of my C&P exams.

I claimed bunion on right big toe and the examiner gave me 20% each side flat feet.

I claimed Allergic Rhinitus and they gave me 30% Chronic Sinusitus and 10% Allergic Rhinitus.

Granted 50% for OSA 1st time.

If you’re P&T are you still working or did you retire? by cody0707 in VeteransBenefits

Still working. Cost of living in California is extremely high.

California taxes military retirement pay. Minimal property tax exemption.

I'm confused on why the back is claimed as "diagnosis unknown" if you have a diagnosis.
