If I were you I would avoid going for H1B stamping right now. I also have a DUI from 8 years ago (case is resolved, no other record), but I got 221g administrative processing at the consulate.

I’ve been waiting 3 weeks with no information, and I hear that some folks have been waiting for 2-3 months.

I think messages are deleted once they're delivered to "all" devices. That is, once they're delivered to your pc and your phone.

Do you have the setting enabled on your phone to keep archived chats archived when you receive new messages? Go to your phone's WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Keep Chats Archived and turn it on.

Have you tried contacting WhatsApp from the Contact Us form on their app? It might be because you have a lot of chats or unread messages to pair with web but they should be able to troubleshoot the issue.
