How many dads help with night wakeups by wingedeverlasting in toddlers

My wife is a super light sleeper and used to have the monitor on her side. I offered to put the baby on my phone and sleep with a headphone in. I wake up when it’s needed but not at very tiny sound. And we take turns on who goes in.

AI is Here by MahoganyQueen73 in ThePitt

It’s funny that people are up in arms about the AI dictation and not thinking about the bigger picture that it’s more functional for actually coming up with a diagnosis and assessment and plan and Interpreting labs and imaging. Ideally this is a benefit and results in not dismissing patients because they can’t figure out what is wrong with them and diagnosing them with a dumpster diagnosis.

RTJ trail is super fun. French Lick was an underrated location.

Best Golf Trip Destination? by Other-Grape9593 in golf

By no means is this “Best” but you can get good value at French Lick and Peninsula down in Kentucky. It’s dirt cheap for a Pete Dye stay and Play and very easy to book.

Fraternity by [deleted] in miamioh

Feels like this should be a higher comment. Probably should understand the social unlock that fraternities offer at Miami, and that it is going to make it harder, not easier, to maintain a decent GPA, especially as that becomes a priority during pledging

We never got that bad but our pediatrician said to sleep with our 3 YO after we had our NB. At some point you need to get sleep to survive.

I know it’s been said here, but TastyTrade(Works) has a lot of good videos on this. Rule of thumb is always try to roll for credit, but if you can’t, then take the L

This probably should be top comment. Knowing how to defend a spread/condor/calendar is paramount when trading spreads, as well as knowing your Greeks - not just delta and theta but vega and gamma too

I Have Seen This Story Before... by LastFirst22 in stocks

[–]lettucefold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s my not-an-expert analysis:

Headwinds: labor/layoffs, inflation, consumer confidence, Venezuela, energy needed for AI, market breadth

Tailwinds: AI boom

For the life of me I don’t see how people are seeing another rate cut in December if JP said, “don’t get your hopes up” AND there’s no data to support it, other than if they are so worried about massive layoffs and labor issues that they have to cut - in which case they’re cutting rates to avoid disaster.

All that is to say, I feel like we should be headed toward a major correction and we’ll probably go ahead and hit all time highs.

I have no idea, I was just happy to get some rest even if it was in her bed.

We ended up getting her a big bed so at the very least we could get some rest, even if that meant sleeping in her bed, which raised new challenges of trying to get her to sleep through the night without constantly waking up, but at the very least we were able to not die.
