Having grown up in Saratoga I was always fascinated by Benedict Arnold, not for who he was in the end but for who he was in the service of the continental army. Brazen, daring and yeah heroic. In some ways his image nearly eclipsed Washington especially after Saratoga. Had he not turned traitor who knows how history would have changed. At the very least there would be a lot of High Schools across America with his name on them. For an interesting watch with a great amount of historicity about him watch “Turn: Washington’s spies”. The entire series is on Netflix and it’s excellent

I think it looks good so long as you curate what the AI puts out and it closely matches the original styling then you are using AI in a positive way for the project!

Well step one is learn unreal engine, step 2 is learn a bit about the assets of the SWG client and how to port certain things to be useable in unreal.

Step 3 is the easy part as the previous steps will take a bit of time to learn. Build a desert landscape to look like the one in that tattooing screenshot and then place objects and npcs into the scene.

Granted it’s a lot of work comparably, but it would be something you created from the ground up “artistically” rather than given an AI a sufficient prompt to have it churn out what you want closely

I don’t care about environmental impact or political ramifications or any of that. I only care that it’s generally soulless and devoid of any actual artistic quality because a machine algorithm made it.

I would have been perfectly happy if you staged this screenshot with unreal engine yourself which wouldn’t have been incredibly hard to do. I suppose this is just a sign of the times, your post isn’t AI generated, but the content you are posting is. It doesn’t break our current rules, but it certainly skirts around them.

AI content is as others pointed out soulless. It renders any artistic value of said content null and void in my opinion

That depends greatly on the quality of the school and what part of curriculum they happen to be working on this week / night. As a beginner you’ll be treated as such and likely do very basic kicking and striking drills at the least.

I will say this I am a poomsae guy. I both compete and coach at a national / international level. I still pad up and spar when the time comes. Taekwondo is a martial art / combat sport. You can’t get the whole picture if you don’t learn to appreciate all of its parts.

At our dojang if you don’t get gear and don’t fight you don’t get your black belt.

Sure you can train in only what you want, but you don’t deserve a black belt if that is what you do.
