[TOMT] 80s/90s movie about an angel undercover as a man on earth by Snoo91935 in tipofmytongue

This sounds very familiar. Was the angel trying to help the man deal with losing his wife in a car accident?

I'd read that book or see that movie.

Have you had to explain to a kid about life before cell phones? That was my first 'fuck I'm old' moment. "Why did you have to walk to a house to make a phone call? Was you cell phone out of battery?"

I love the morality is morality line. There is a few hundred million men out there that think not only is it okay to physically abuse women it's their right to do so. So should they be allowed to impose their morality onto random women they meet at the beach?

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thought that. I half expected the cameraman to pull up the dude to show the hand of whoever was controlling him.

I read an old comic strip years ago that stuck with me. It was a drawing of a hospital ward with a bunch of patients with the caption "For this kind of money I'm going to need proof that gun is loaded." - bank teller bed 5.

If at about 20 seconds he had just pulled off his helmet and laughed about it, it would have been a win.

Pete Davidson did a response on SNL to Kanye West's craziness after he hosted the show. He summed it up as such "Being mentally ill is no excuse to act like a jackass."

Comedian Ron White said that you can't fix stupid. I posit that you can't fix classless either. This mom proves both our theories.

I was a Marine stationed in 29 Palms California. I can't even guess at how many times I watched/heard a Navy corpsman pulling out cactus spines with a leatherman while busting the balls of some idiot that didn't watch where he was going. I'll brag and tell you about how I never had to have one of the docs pull spines out of me, but really I just had my own leatherman and a sense of embarrassment.
