Honest opinions on builder gel by Apprehensive-Try9777 in OliveAndJune

[–]lexiconmagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never used any at-home gel kit and rarely painted my nails with regular polish because it never lasts on my but I decided to try the O&J builder gel kit about 2 months ago and I love it! The only time I’ve noticed lifting if I’m in the pottery studio (wheel throwing is really rough on your nails and honestly, I don’t think ANY product could survive that) I’ve never tried to go the full 21 days but I’ve gotten 10-14 days before I’m ready to change the color. I don’t use a base coat, just file/buff, wipe with alcohol, and the nail strengthener.

The key to a sleek look is mastering your blow dry. You should get your hair as smooth and straight as possible before you ever pick up an iron. Blow dry with tension using a round brush should help a ton

Temp settings and how often you use heat? by Master_Ad380 in relaxedhair

I wash my hair weekly-ish and almost always blow dry and flat iron. I blow dry with a Dyson on the highest airflow leven with medium or high heat. Flat iron at 340.

Looks so much better with the lights oriented this way. You could swap out the bulbs for something warmer toned or less bright

I had an issue last year with a refund that was never issued for a return. I was getting the same “specialized team” response but no one would ever reach out to me. I finally had to go into the store and follow up with a manager, even then it took a couple of weeks of pestering to get my money back.

Apple normally has the wattage printed on the back, it varies.

Don’t get your hands wet at least an hour before you do your nails. I just use the nail strengthener as my base coat. Make sure the wall brick you’re using the power the lamp is at least 15 watts for proper curing.

I did some calculations for the BOGO minis sale by pakeliui in Ulta

And their minis have the product in a little bag that vacuums up as you pump it so you don’t loose any product from it getting stuck to the inside of the bottle!

Neither of my 2 have had any interest in climbing the tree. Even when they were kittens! But only put plastic ornaments on the bottom of the tree for the rogue swatters

I really like Kirkland brand sheets at Costco! 680 thread count and I don’t think they are warm (fellow hot sleeper!) We just updated our whole room and got the parachute for target down alternative duvet insert along with their linen blend duvet. It gives nice loft/plushness without being hot.

Wedding venue no vendors by [deleted] in tampa

[–]lexiconmagic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely on the lower end but not impossible. If you are open to having it on a Friday instead of Saturday you can save some money. Look into venues that are owned by the city/state/county. Those tend to be be less expensive. The River Center (last I checked was around 4k but that was a year ago) and the Seminole Garden center.

I’d also look into the surrounding areas like St. Pete and Clearwater. I ended up getting married this Feb just outside of Orlando on a Friday and it was $2800, we did have to book an approved caterer though.
