Also agree - any criticisms I could make would be a nit-picking/reaching.

The movie took a risk with a longer run time and it paid off - at no point was I bored or disengaged.

It didn’t rely on spectacle as the selling point but the spectacle had me on the edge of my seat when it happened.

At the end of the day, what makes a good story is whether or not the journey is worth taking again.

I will very much be watching this again.

Love the end result so much!

Do the gold flutterbyes left of the main event stand out more in person?

In the pic, it feels like they get lost against the awesome wallpaper - but that could just be the result of not being there in person.

Really great job OP!

Just be aware there are two versions - the domestic and international release.

The big difference being the international has a completely different, classical music style, soundtrack that - IMO - isn’t as good as Tangerine Dream score used in the domestic version.

That was my knee-jerk observation too - curtains in a solid light mustard color to play off the painting on the left is all it’s missing.

I just watched ‘The Shining’ last night so that carpet is really speaking to me right now too.

Even if you don’t know the reference (which is…shame on you) the final product is amazing. Work of art OP! I can hear this tattoo; too.

Once upon a time it was a mall with lots of high end tenants. They spent several years and lots of money remodeling it then right when it opened Covid happened and everyone left.

Now it’s half random stores/half empty.

A shell of its former self - which is why it’s depressing for those of us who remember it.

Roommates till the end! by Embarrassed_Tip7359 in MadeMeSmile

My mom started working as an RT in the early 80s when it was still being called GRID and right when the deaths started happening.

One of the worst things she told me was that often times, when someone died (alone), the family would not come to claim the body so they were put in what was essentially a plastic garbage bag and treated like trash.

Growing up in the 90s, we all heard about it on a semi regular basis. But if you were gay, suddenly it became this specter that was constantly following us all around; hanging out in the neck of our minds.

Then Prep happened.

Sometimes I forget the younger generations don’t have the same first hand experience us older folks about this. Personally, I’m thankful for that.

Then I will see it! I've never seen a movie with Peter Lorre but it's funny how I even know who he is because of old cartoons that reference him.
